Lürssen Yachts Launches Green, a New 66-Meter Motor Yacht

Lürssen has been building yachts since 1875, so it's no surprise that the company continues making exemplary vessels that are designed to meet each owner's specifications.

At the end of last May, Lürssen launched project Green, a 66-meter motor yacht with an 11.9-meter beam.

Green's owner wanted the yacht to have a masculine appearance, so exterior designer Espen Oeino added elements that make her an imposing figure on the water. Her size and shape, alone, make Green look like an impressive yacht that no one would want to challenge.

Interior designer Raymond Langton still has some work to do. Lürssen Yachts is currently installing the interior spaces. Once complete, Green will have an elaborate design with loose and built-in pieces of Silver Lining furniture.

Lürssen Yachts plans to deliver Green to her owner this fall. Until then, fans of the esteemed builder should keep their eyes open for images of her exterior and interior. As we near the delivery date, fans may find a few approved images that show how remarkable this yacht really is.

Azimut Yachts growing reputation for building some of the most advanced modern yachts just got another boost. Following the success of the Azimut 55S, the company plans to release a new model, 77S, at the Cannes boat show this autumn.

Azimut has already sold four pre-launch boats, proving that plenty of expert yacht-owners have faith in the company.

Even a quick look at Azimut 77S shows why so many people are excited about its upcoming launch. The yacht has a streamlined silhouette from renowned designer Stefano Righini. She consumes 350 liters per hour while traveling at cruising speed (32 knots). Benetti Unveils New 56-Meter Yacht, Lady Candy

Bentti Lady Candy DesignBenetti Yachts has released information about its newest creation: Lady Candy, a 56-meter yacht that's an excellent example of how well style and technology can complement each other.

Benetti started the project with one of its most robust platforms. The company widened the beam and repositioned the wheelhouse on the sun deck. These changes made it possible to meet the owner's experienced demands.

Thanks to carefully chosen equipment, Lady Candy has a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. When moving at the fuel-saving pace of 12 knots, she has a 5,000-nautical mile range.

Central Yacht Design Studio worked with Benetti to create the perfect interior for this stunning yacht. (The owner also played a crucial role.) The design studio built a contemporary interior that brings fluidity to the 962-tonne Lady Candy.

With five decks of space, the studio had plenty of opportunity to stretch its creative limits. Much of the interior uses soft colors and briar root wood to create comfortable, welcoming areas. Lady Candy has an undeniably international aesthetic that pairs East and West sensibilities.

Since the owner has a lot of experience with yachting and diving, the team had a chance to build something truly unique: a beach club that comes with practically any amenity the owner could want. Those amenities include a steam shower, full bar, gym, and swimming platform.

The owner of Lady Candy knew what he was doing when he chose Benetti to build his yacht. Now he gets to explore the world in style with his family and closest friends.
