Another Heesen’s beauty launched: M/Y ASYA!

Last December, the 47metre project, YN 16947, product of a joint work by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and Bannenberg & Rowell studio, was finally launched at Oss facilities. Its name, M/Y Asya, can be seen in bright gold from far away in the middle of this colossal superyacht, as this was how her owners christened her throughout a private ceremony. Some of her pictures have been unveiled and are available at the end of this article.

As with MySky, the mega yacht delivered last november by Heesen, at M/Y Asya was once again Frank Laupman the mind behind this beautiful exterior design. Modern but keeping some sort of traditional style, the soft lines of the steel hull all together with the glass windows and the black paintwork on deck, give this superyacht a refined look. On the other hand, the interiors, which have come from the pen of the multi-award winning studio Bannenberg & Rowell, have been designed under a concept of simplicity, where the "less if often more" rule applies, achieving a minimalist but sumptuous style.

M/Y Asia will be able to achieve a maximum speed of 15 knots, and to softly cruise at 12 knots with a range of 4,000 nautical miles, all of it powered by her two MTU diesel engines 8V 4000 M63. As a whole, this beautiful superyacht that has been done at the highest professional standards, has been thought as a promise of a moment away from it all for her owners. Anxiously expected, her delivery will be in February after all the sea trails are accomplished.
