She is set to be delivered in 2022, but Custom Amels 78 looks it to be the biggest fully custom superyacht the Dutch shipyard has ever built.

The superyacht's initial floating took place earlier this year in a private event at the Amels and Damen Yachting facilities in the Netherlands, attended by the owner's team.

It's a story that spans nearly 80 years after beginning in 1942, and now a new book called The Story of Recluta tells of a boat's fate, written by Zelmira Frers, the daughter of the famous boat designer Germán.

And now boat lovers everywhere can enjoy her first book of 200 pages of text and photographs - it will delight anyone who has a passion for the nautical world.

The latest yacht to be delivered by boatbuilding outfit Heesen is the head-turning ELA, known as Project Altea.

The impressive yacht was built in the Netherlands and set sail in the summer for the Mediterranean with her new owners and family on board.

With the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival in September, there are numerous debuts to look forward to and Wally’s new WHY200 is already a standout. Wally has been innovating yachts for decades and this year is no exception, even Stefano de Vivo describes her as exceeding the “wildest expectations”. WHY200 has some architecturally stunning features, such as the extended structural top in the upper deck with no supporting pillars creating a visually stunning sight that we would be awestruck to contemplate. The removal of the pillars creates an even more open space, elongating the flow of the upper deck and making it even more useful for activities with friends and family.

Turquoise has awed us with an incredible launch this year, showcasing their 74-meter NB66, and they have more to come. Their most recent official launch took place in Istanbul with an extensive celebration and is planned to be delivered in September this year. The client expressed "I am happiest when I feel the wind in my hair and the sand in my feet." and his passion for the sea is clearly shown in the design of the NB66.

On June 18th Lürssen unveiled and launched Project Enzo, an upcoming 115-meter superyacht. It was commissioned by a frequent client who was impressed by his previously purchased Lürssen, and felt that nobody else could meet his particular demands. He was so delighted with his previous experience with Lurssen that the build and design team remained unchanged.

The client desired a family-focused and healthy life yacht, something that Nuvolari-Lenard, designer of the project's interior and exterior, seemed to grasp perfectly. As Dan Lenard explained, she has three decks integrated into the high bow design to ensure seakeeping in true ocean conditions. An environmentally friendly design featuring an innovative full-beam owner suite duplex for guaranteed comfortable traveling. Project Enzo also includes a spacious wellness area situated on the lower deck and an extra-large gym on the sky lounge deck.

Baltic Yachts has found the equilibrium between speed, elegance, and modern craftsmanship once again in their 146 Path. She has successfully passed sailing trials in Jakobstad, Finland, and has been delivered to her owner. With her dramatic finish of grey and orange, she is truly a vision of the utmost modern design.

Nautor Swan's Skoripios take victory of monohull line honours of this year's legendary Rolex Fastnet. The impressive team conquered outstanding achievements in their competitive debut facing 337 yachts, starting the team's history with an enormous victory. Led by Dmitry Rybolovlev, the team crossed the finish line at the elapsed time of 2 days, 8 hours, 33 minutes, and 55 seconds for the 695 nautical mile course.

The Rolex Fastnet Race has been organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, first held in 1925, partnered with Rolex since 2001 is one of the most thrilling races in the yachting world, one should be extremely grateful to witness. In this particularly special year, the finish is in Cherbourg, France, rather than its typical Plymouth, England.

A substantial fleet of more than 300 yachts is set to compete in the 49th edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. The entry list is evidence once again of the illustrious status and widespread appeal of the event, which starts from Cowes on the Isle of Wight in England on Sunday 8 August.

Rolex this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of its partnership with the biennial competition and its organizers, the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC). The offshore race is one of the cornerstones of the brand’s enduring association with the sport of sailing.

Superyacht Al Waab II is the longest steel aluminum yacht below the 500GT regulation in the world.

NAVIS was invited to the presentation of a new and particular Motoryacht; it is a yacht that redefines our perception of the previous 63 footers we experienced before.

On June 30, we arrived at our hotel in Forte Dei Marmi, Italy. Around 7:00 p.m., after a bit of rest, we were already traveling together with a select group of journalists to the "Italian Sea Group Village." A structure with bar, restaurant, conference room, and other luxurious amenities, located on the same grounds as the great Tecnomar shipyard. There, a welcome awaited us from those responsible for the project, followed by an exquisite dinner in the company of the Lamborghini and Tecnomar teams, which was particularly pleasant. Then, to conclude the night, they presented a first and fascinating night vision of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63.

Tecnomar by The Italian Sea Group, a global operator in the luxury yachting industry, has successfully launched on Tuesday, June 24rd, the first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, avantgarde motoryacht coming from the encounter between yachting excellence and supersport cars. The event was carried out at The Italian Sea Group headquarters in Marina di Carrara, in the presence of the management and the whole team which participated in the realization of this jewel.

On 18th June 2021, Lürssen unveiled and successfully launched project Enzo, a striking and bespoke 115-meter superyacht built for a repeat client who previously owned an 86-meter Lürssen. The owner was extremely impressed with the build process of his first yacht and wanted to replicate the experience, right down to the same build and design team, convinced that no one else could meet his particular demands.

Once again, therefore, Nuvolari–Lenard was responsible for the exterior and interior design, and Moran Yacht & Ship managed and supervised the project, all bringing with them their wide spectrum of experience and consolidated knowledge.

The Feadship yard in Makkum has launched 95-meter Bliss. Subject of enormous owner involvement and the epitome of the custom build experience, this timeless family yacht benefits from the very latest hybrid propulsion and, with Polar Code certification, is set to be a world traveler.

Bliss is a displacement superyacht with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and showcases a modern classic exterior styling developed by the owner and Studio De Voogt. The yacht has a clean and highly symmetrical design with her tenders and a large fleet of toys neatly concealed so as not to intrude upon her meticulously chosen lines...

The IBIZA JOYSAIL REGATTA is set to become a fresh benchmark in the world of high-performance regattas and promises a thrilling four-day competition bringing together superyachts from the Maxi and Superyacht classes. The event has also recently decided to accept teams with boats measuring under 80 feet in line with technical criteria; this amendment will shortly be published in the Notice of Race and will be applied on a case by case basis.

Following a challenging year for the sailing world, the IBIZA JOYSAIL Regatta, created by an international team and the Club Náutico de Ibiza – the second oldest port on the Balearic islands - includes the very first offshore 70-mile racecourse for superyachts between Mallorca and Ibiza. An eclectic social agenda match the racing program - both on the water and onshore - for the owners, crews, and guests. The four-day event, which will follow a strict health protocol to ensure the safety of all those involved, marks a welcome return to big yacht racing in some of the most exciting and entertaining sailing destinations in the world.
Nicolás González, captain of the immaculate and elegant 90ft Swan S/Y NEFERTITI - designed by German Frers - which has already registered for the regatta, highlights the great appeal of this new event and the extraordinarily beautiful settings of the racing in Ibiza and Formentera:

Inspired by the legendary yacht designer Carl Riva's work on the celebrated Atlantic and Caravelle motor yachts of the 60s and 70s, the Fifty will now ride the waves in style.

She is the first 50 meters superyacht from Riva and was launched at their shipyard in Ancona, Italy, in a private ceremony.

The yacht has a maximum beam of nine meters to deliver an outstanding cruising experience.

She reflects Riva's aesthetic hallmarks and classy styling with lots of sophistication with an exterior consisting of steel, mahogany, and glass.
