Have a look into the future with AeroMobil 3.0 at Top Marques Monaco 2015

Not an eagle, not a plane, not a car... it's AeroMobil 3.0, the flying roadster that turns from a car into a plane and from a plane into a car, all in one in just a few seconds. After debuting at the world-known Pioneers Festival in Vienna, where entrepreneurship, technology and innovation are celebrated every year, AeroMobil 3.0 reaches Monaco and gets his VIP pass for the most exclusive super car show of the globe, Top Marques Monaco.

If anything is to be said about these prototype, it's that it has been breaking through limits since it's very early conception. But that is what it takes being a ground-breaker, and Stefan Klein, who in 1989 was the head of the Department of Transport Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Slovakia, knew this well. Henry Ford had already said it by 1940: "Mark my word: A combination airplane and motorcar is coming. You may smile, but it will come". Now, this famous phrase is the slogan at AeroMobil. It was only necessary that someone followed those words. Kleinn did, and by 1989 he started working on the first prototype of a flying car. Since then and through twenty years, AeroMobil 1.0 first and 2.0 next, were developed and built and in 2010, the AeroMobil Company was finally born by the hand of Juraj Vaculik, CEO and co-founder of the company, as Klein and him joined efforts with the aim of commercializing the project and taking AeroMobil through the next step.

Today, with AeroMobil 3.0 landing on the red carpet of the world's most exclusive car show, we might say that Henry Ford's prediction it's finally coming true. In the own words of the company: "As a car it fits into any standard parking space, uses regular gasoline, and can be used in road traffic just like any other car. As a plane it can use any airport in the world, but can also take off and land using any grass strip or paved surface just a few hundred meters long". If we add to this great versatility the fact that AeroMobil 3.0 was developed and built only in the amazing and short time of ten months, it wouldn't be that crazy to say that maybe sooner than later, the Jetsons will be a mirror of reality rather than a mirror of the future. In the own words of Stefan Klein, Co-Founder and CTO of the AeroMobil Company, to the world premiere at Vienna's last Pioneers Festival: "I'm very happy with what we were able to achieve in such a short time with the team of only 12 people. AeroMobil 3.0 is not the end of a challenging project, it's the beginning of a whole new adventure which may change the way how we look at the personal transport in the future."

On the eve of Top Marques, Manoj Bairstow, managing director of the show, said: "I'm absolutely delighted that AeroMobil is coming to Top Marques 2015 (...) It is testament to the importance of Top Marques as a supporter of new transportation technologies that such a game-changing vehicle has decided to exhibit with us here in Monaco." For his part, Juraj Vaculik said: "I'm very excited by the opportunity to be a part of the Top Marques Monaco 2015 where we will introduce the prototype of AeroMobil 3.0 to supercar buyers. I strongly believe that AeroMobil will inspire new ways of thinking about personal travel. Our company is set to reinvent the flying car without constraints and deliver excitement through unique technical solution and design."
