At the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, Royal Huisman revealed an upcoming project that has been named Project 400. Since then, the yachting experts at Royal Huisman have leaked more information that shows how revolutionary this 81-meter schooner will be.

Royal Huisman has teamed with several experts to make this ambitious project a reality. Dykstra Naval Architects, interior designer Mark Whiteley, and Bart Kimman of Northrop & Johnson Asia have contributed essential elements that will bring this dream yacht to life.

Southern Winds recently announced that it launched its latest high-performance racer cruiser SW-RP 90 on the 6th of November in Cape Town. The owner has chosen to name the yacht All Smoke.

All Smoke is a 27.5-meter yacht that Southern Winds customized to meet the demands of her owner, who has experience with the Southern Winds brand. All Smoke combines the performance of a racer cruiser with the modern comforts of a superyacht.

On the 3rd of September, Feadship launched its new 92-meter yacht, Aquarius, during a private ceremony at the company’s shipyard in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. Aquarius brings together some of Feadship’s most advanced technologies to create a superyacht that travels the world in style.

Feadship created Aquarius with assistance from Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design. The result is a massive yacht that remains nimble in the water.

Overmarine has spent a considerable amount of time developing its Maxi Open Mangusta fleet. The project has already produced several noteworthy yachts that meet the needs of most yacht-buyers. The latest in the Mangusta 165 series, however, stands out as the most impressive yacht to come from this long-term project.

This is not the first time that renowned SuperYacht designer Malcolm McKeon and Vitters Shipyard have collaborated on a new project, but it is the first time that McKeon has done so from the drawing boards of his own design studio and the result is a stunning, contemporary high-performance cruising boat named Missy. The carbon fiber hull was built by Green Marine, a UK based subsidiary of Vitters, and it was then transported over the Netherlands to Vitters Shipyard where construction was completed.

The stunning backdrop of Cape Town’s Table Mountain is only fitting for the newest yacht built by South African boat builder Southern Wind. The Farr designed Crossbow is a sistership to Seawave, a yacht that enjoyed a large amount of success in Europe by taking first place at the Rolex Capri International Regatta and third place at the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta in Porto Cervo. From the look of it Crossbow has the same winning pedigree. At 31.71 meters on deck the yacht is just over 100 feet in length and is a total masterpiece from the plum bow to the broad transom.

A new Feadship Motor Yacht is as much a work of art as it is a sailing vessel and Vanish, launched earlier this year in the Netherlands, is a superb illustration. The yacht is a stunning 66.25-metre example of floating art that has pushed the boundaries of style and elegance and indeed chartered new territory with a free-standing staircase that is flanked by a glass wall that reaches the height of the top deck three stories above. It also includes an extendable balcony for the owner’s stateroom. With the push of a button a teak-covered platform slides out from under the starboard companionway using an innovative pull-out mechanism. It then locks in place flush with the floor level of the stateroom to give a seamless transition through glass sliding doors.

Build it and they will come sums up how the latest Feadship came to be. Feadship, long known for building massive state-of-the-art motor yachts took a client-first approach to the newest boat just launched, a 34-metre motor yacht that reinforces the brand’s celebrated ability to surprise and delight. Here is how things transpired. The client wanted a yacht that was smaller than the usual Feadship size in order to be able to access new markets where mooring facilities are restricted and facilitate cruising in shallower depths.

It’s not surprising that the latest creation from the Ferretti Group, a world leader in the design, construction and sale of some of the most iconic brands like Riva and Pershing, have already pre-sold three of their new semi-displacement maxi yachts before the boat has been officially presented to the public. The new Navetta 37 has an overall length of 37.04 meters (121.6 ft.) and is a flagship yacht for the Ferretti Group which is known for producing some of the world’s top luxury motor yachts.

Feadship announced near the end of May that it launched its latest superyacht, Joy, in the presence of her owners and the teams that worked hard to create her. Joy is the result of a collaboration between Feadship, Bannenberg & Rowell, and Studio Indigo. Bannenberg & Rowell was responsible for Joy’s exterior design; Studio Indigo designed her interior.

Heesen Yachts announces that it has delivered its largest yacht to date, a 70m all-aluminum fast displacement superyacht named Galactica Super Nova. Heesen's engineers started working with Dutch naval architects from van Oossanen in December 2013 to craft this magnificent yacht. They intended to deliver the yacht within just 41 months, a feat that few builders could accomplish. Thanks to over 35 years of experience, the companies managed to meet the deadline.

The delivery of the 511.81 ft/156 m motor yacht Lürssen Dilbar to its Mediterranean destination was completed in early June, as announced by the respected superyacht builder. The 52-month build process and early May launch took place at Lürssen's Lemwerder shipyard. Dilbar created a significant milepost as what is likely the largest private superyacht build of 2016 in terms of length, and the fourth largest yacht in the world.

Overmarine Group announced near the end of May that it delivered the Mangusta 165 E hull number 10 at the company's wharf in Viareggio, Italy. This is the third Mangusta yacht in a series intended for the American market.

Perini Navi, one of the world's indisputably most popular yacht builders, recently announced that it launches Sybaris, a 70-meter sailing yacht. It's the company's largest yacht since Maltese Falcon was completed over a decade ago.

Wally recently announced that it launches its latest superyacht, Wally 110 Barong D, at a private ceremony in Marina di Ravenna, Italy. Wally built the 33.5-meter yacht for a client who has owned two other Wally yachts: 94 Barong C and Barong B.

Excitement is building as Luerssen plans to launch its Mistral megayacht. The boatyard has been working on this project for over 31 months. Luerssen released some information in 2013 while completing Mistral’s keel. Since then, insights have been scarce. Luckily, there are a few things that we know about this luxurious yacht.

Heesen Yachts recently announced that it has launched its largest vessel to date, a 70-meter motoryacht the company built under the name Project Kometa. Upon receiving the yacht, the owners chose to christen it Galactica Super Nova.

Heesen Yachts has pushed the boundaries of yachting technology again with its Amopre Mio sport yacht. Working in conjunction with Omega Architects, Heesen managed to build the largest, most powerful sport yacht produced by the Netherlands.

Vitters Shipyard and Oceanco report that they will deliver their innovative AQUIJO 85-meter sailing yacht by the end of April. The companies brought together some of the world’s greatest authorities on naval architecture, interior design, and exterior design to built this one-of-a-kind vessel, including Tripp Design Naval Architecture and Dolker + Voges. The project was managed by Master Yachts, who represents the owner.
