This Amels Limited Edition 242-foot yacht boasts a Tim Heywood exterior design and Winch Design interiors. She includes the latest Amels 242 features, from the premium Owner’s Deck to the aft deck swimming pool. M&EM makes a statement with her unique blue paint job and stands out from other Amels Limited Editions yachts.

On Saturday, October 26th, Bilgin Yachts will launch the Leona, the second 80-meter unit of their 263 series. Taking cues from their previously successful Tatiana launch in 2020, Bilgin has pulled out all the stops to make this one a more extensive and exclusive experience. With features such as a larger and more spacious interior than its predecessor, Leona is set to take on and impress the world with her unique red and white exterior colors. Following her launch off the coast of Istanbul, she will begin sea trials in late December, ushering in what is sure to be an exciting adventure for everyone who sails on her.

Through extensive data gathering and analysis, the builder has now created an automated platform so that its projects' energy generation, distribution, and consumption can be managed intelligently and efficiently.

The platform is an automated energy and battery management system with an open-interface architecture. As a system integrator, Lürssen has designed this technology to incorporate the many individual technologies unique to each project. By using the sophisticated control and monitoring system Allviu, developed by its partner company besecke GmbH & Co. KG, the yacht can receive and process all relevant information, status reports, and faults and perform automatic or semi-automatic energy management tasks.

Turquoise Yachts is delighted to present the launch of 53m Jewels. With her chic, sharp lines and sleek geometry, Jewels is another one-of-a-kind yacht to join the Turquoise fleet. The ceremonies conducted under the theme of gold and glamour gave Jewels a warm welcome to the seas as the newest member of the Turquoise fleet. The event took place at the Pendik shipyard on 19 August in the company of the owners, guests, and the Turquoise team.

Jewels’ exterior design was created by Miami-based DeBasto Design, and her interior was done by London-based H2 Yacht Design. At 720 GT, Jewels offers a fantastic interior and exterior space, usually only found on much larger yachts. She has 8 + 1 guest staterooms, and the exterior deck areas are spacious and designed to entertain large groups and intimate gatherings. “No one will feel lost” says Luiz DeBasto. The Sun Deck offers around-the-clock entertainment with a hot tub, sun pads, TV, day head, bar, and open space.

The Monaco-based brand Wally has released new information about the latest model in its semi-displacement line, the wallywhy150, ahead of the upcoming show season. The new yacht, which was first introduced in July, follows in the footsteps of its much-admired predecessor, the wallywhy200. The wallywhy150 was created by the experienced Wally-Ferretti Group Engineering team, with Studio A. Vallicelli & C responsible for its contemporary interior design. The concept behind the wallywhy150 was to offer unparalleled exterior spaces on a 78-foot yacht.

Stefano de Vivo, Wally’s Managing Director, explains further: “The exterior areas are absolutely huge and are unmatched for her size. The upper deck is completely open, giving you an enormous amount of protected space on top, which is equivalent to what you would see on a 40-meter yacht (131’3’’). On board, you can enjoy a full dining setting on the sundeck, a sunbathing area, a shaded lounge, and much more – almost the full length of the boat is outside. This appeals to many contemporary owners who want to ensure they have a strong connection to the water.”

The new all-aluminium 60-meter CRN creation was launched for the first time in Ancona on 3 September 2022. The CRN 141 Project is CRN’s latest work of art to be christened in Ancona.

The M/Y 141, at 60.33 meters long and 10.55 meters in the beam, is the product of CRN’s design and construction experience merged with Italian architecture studio Nuvolari Lenard’s concepts for the interior and exterior. The end result is a one-of-a-kind yacht with 5 decks that can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests and 13 crew.

ISA GT 45 M/Y Aria SF is the latest addition to the ISA Yachts shipyard in Ancona, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts. At 45-metres, it features sharp and sporty exterior lines, marked by a plumb bow, with side arches connecting the three decks (a hallmark of the shipyard for over 20 years) and a fin-shaped hard top ascribing a light and slim look to the profile.

The naval architecture was developed by the Palumbo Superyachts technical team. The exterior design is by Team for Design - Enrico Gobbi, while the interior style is by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. Sea, light, and air are the main characters of any space on board, complemented by technical, functional, and minimal elements with a strong reference to cars, speed, and primary colors. The ISA GT 45 is a comfortable yacht with great outdoor livability and a disposition that facilitates the indoor/outdoor seamless connection, both visually and practically.

The Amels Custom 78 has left the Damen Yachting shipyard in Vlissingen after being delivered to her Owner. Her departure signifies the completion of her build as she sets sail for a private global itinerary.

This 78-meter Amels Full Custom embodies the Owner’s realization of a unique and ambitious yachting vision. With a gross tonnage of 2,885, she features a beautiful exterior design by Espen Øino, whose team was also appointed to develop the General Arrangement. Zuretti Interior Designers are the studio behind the custom interiors. This Amels Full Custom benefits from several standout features which truly enhance the beauty of her overall design. These include a large open-top deck, large aft pool, and very wide side decks, which can be utilized as private guest balconies.

The delivery of the Amels Custom 78 confirms the strong and successful collaboration between the shipyard and the Owner’s team. Since the introduction of the Dutch superyacht builder’s Limited Editions concept in 2005, this is the first Amels Full Custom yacht to be delivered by Damen Yachting.

Project WITCHCRAFT, the second Amels 60, has left the Amels and Damen Yachting drydock in the Netherlands. This milestone signals the beginning of her final build phase before delivery to her owner later this year.

The much-anticipated launch of Amels 6002 finally took place at Damen Yachting’s headquarters in Vlissingen. This new Amels 60 Limited Editions design has generated a lot of interest, and onlookers were given a first glimpse of the 60-meter yacht’s bright and light color scheme. The exterior styling of the signature windows has been customized to meet the Owner’s requirements. Heesen is pleased to announce the launch of YN 19755, formerly known as Project Gemini and now named MY Reliance. The vessel started as a speculative venture, and the client, introduced by Arcon Yachts Monaco, joined 15 months into the construction - early enough for Heesen’s engineering team to make some essential adjustments that allowed the owners to customize the yacht to their taste and lifestyle. The changes include an opening window in the master stateroom and a new layout for their bathroom, and delightful windows in the transom door to let natural light into the beach club.

The Italian Sea Group today delivered the Kenshō, a new 75-meter mega yacht, to the owner. The Admiral-branded vessel is the latest addition to the company's luxurious fleet of motor yachts and ships, which are up to 140 meters in length.

Kenshō is a luxurious mega yacht that redefines the boundaries of space and distribution. Launched in November 2021, the 75-meter yacht is the result of a collaboration between the owner, who oversaw the project directly, and the French agency Jouin Manku, who designed the interior. Azure Yacht Design and archineers.berlin developed the exterior design together.

On July 4, 2022, the Benetti shipyard in Livorno launched its new B.Yond 37M Voyager. This vessel is made of steel instead of fiberglass, a choice that harkens back to the 1950s when Benetti first introduced metal as a construction material. For many markets, steel is a symbol of durability and solidity, which are essential qualities for a vessel designed for extended cruising.

The 50-meter Aluminium Semi-displacement Series motor yacht features an ultra-efficient lightweight all-aluminum hull. With a thundering top speed of over 23 knots and a shallow draft of just 2.15 meters, this yacht is perfect for those who love the open sea. The second yacht in this series is scheduled to be delivered in 2022.

Heesen Yachts is delighted to announce the delivery of YN 19850 MY Book Ends, formerly known as Project Sapphire. Book Ends is a thoroughbred racehorse of a yacht with a top speed of over 23 knots. True to the Heesen philosophy, her performance comes not from brute power but from smart engineering. Heesen’s 50m Aluminium Semi-displacement Series is the first of its kind below 500 GT to comply with IMO Tier-III regulations. An optimized, low-drag, lightweight aluminum hull with a reduced transom depth brings efficiency gains of around 12 percent.

The Iconic Roman Shipyard will be officially launching its new Oceanic Line Flagship, the 143’ Tri-Deck, at the upcoming fall Boat Shows. The Oceanic 143’ Tri-Deck was designed and engineered in-house, and features luxury interiors by Michela Reverberi Design from Rome. With a top-end speed of 24 knots and long-range capabilities, the Oceanic 143’ is the perfect blend of luxury and practicality. Outdoor entertainment spaces are another feature that sets this ship apart from the competition. The Oceanic 143’ Tri-Deck will dock on July 20 and undergo sea trials afterward.

The all-new, elegant but racy design by Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design Firm is the first one-off unit in production for experienced owners. Superyacht comfort, space, and style in under 24m will be delivered in 2024 with hull no.1.

 The launch of the ClubSwan 80 marks the completion of Nautor's Swan's ClubSwan Yachts range. This new model is fast, fun, and innovative and sits alongside the small, technologically advanced ClubSwan 36. The ClubSwan 80 shares some ease-of-handling features with the ClubSwan 36, including the advanced hull form, sail plan, and innovative underwater appendages. The ClubSwan 50 marked the start of a new era in One Design, and the new Super Maxi ClubSwan 125 proved fast and powerful by taking line honors at the Rolex Fastnet Race and Caribbean 600.

The champion is Charlie Dalin (APIVIA), who has signed his second consecutive solo victory in this IMOCA season after his success in the Guyader Bermuda 1000 Race last May. The Le Havre skipper has recorded his fifth victory since entering the 60-foot monohull class after the 2019 Transat Jacques Vabre (double-handed with Yann Eliès), the 2021 Rolex Fastnet Race (double-handed with Paul Meilhat), and the 2021 Azimut Challenge (doubles with Paul Meilhat). This is his seventh podium in as many races on APIVIA.

The vessel's exteriors and interiors were developed by the Milan-based studio Hot Lab. Its gross tonnage is just under 500 GT. Its layout allows for two convertible spaces on the lower deck that serve multiple purposes, such as additional cabins, a gym, a cinema area, an owner's office, or recreation spaces. Other noteworthy areas include the sundeck, which houses a Jacuzzi, sunpads, a bar with a barbecue, a relaxation area, and a head.

The fifth event of the International Maxi Association's 2021-22 Mediterranean Maxi Offshore Challenge is the Rolex Giraglia. This year's event returned to its traditional Saint-Tropez-Giraglia-Genoa course. However, with ultra-light winds forecast, its organizers, the Yacht Club Italiano, in collaboration with Yacht Club Sanremo and Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, wisely scrapped the opening mark of La Fourmigue.

Furio Benussi's 100ft Grand Prix Maxi ARCA SGR was the highest-rated boat under IRC and the defending champion from 2021. She led the race most of the time, but the large Wallys - Charif Souki's Wallycento Tango, Jean-Luc Petithuguenin's 107 Spirit of Malouen, and Andrea Recordati's 93 Bullitt - were nipping at her heels. The most serious challenge came from Sir Lindsay Owen-Jones' Wallycento Magic Carpet Cubed. One of the most successful teams in this race's history, Magic Carpet Cubed, has claimed line honors in 2013 and outright victory under IRC corrected time two years later.

A Dutch submarine manufacturer, U-boat Worx, has launched a new series of submarines called the NEXUS. This series breaks from the traditional mold of submarines and is designed to be more accessible and user-friendly. Previously, U-boat Worx manufactured only private and commercial submarines, but the NEXUS series is designed for a wider audience. The company has sold over 20 of its highly successful Cruise Subs to private operators, resorts, and cruise lines since 2017.
