Heesen Project Aura, price and owner

The fifth yacht launched for Heesen in 2021, Project Aura, was launched on December 17th at their Netherland-based Oss facility. Despite the challenges faced by the recent pandemic, the desiccated workforce and agile supply chain allowed the project to complete on schedule.

Heesen CEO Arthur Brouwer commented, “2021 has been a very exciting year for our shipyard, not only for our many sales successes, which will keep us busy for years to come but also for the milestones we achieved in the construction of our yachts.”

Feadship 71m Superyacht, price and owner

In a timeless blend of polished steel, teak, and glass, the launch of Feadship’s 71-meter superyacht ‘Juice’ captivated onlookers with a display of elegance and style. Named as a nod to modern American artist Ed Ruscha, the elegant superstructure defines a masculine flow with sleek exterior lines and distinctive creases with a minimalist and contemporary style created by the removal of all unnecessary components. CRN 62m Superyacht RIO, Price, owner

In a private ceremony, the Ferretti Group’s brand CRN 62 meter superyacht Rio has been christened and entered the water for the first time. Project C138 to be delivered as megayacht Rio is a steel and aluminum collaboration between CRN, Omega Architects, and Pulina Interiors. The exceptionally sporty-looking vessel displays sharp lines and an almost vertical bow, giving it a uniquely strong and defined profile and a striking visual appearance.

Acala Superyacht Launched - Price

Acala has been commissioned by an experienced yachtsman who, despite collaborating on projects with numerous other shipyards, has become a repeat client for CDM. Encapsulating the design vision in a comprehensive and intricate design, Acala may be the smallest 80-meter yacht ever built - so joked CDMs co-founder Vasco Buonpensiere.

The yacht’s eye-catching and conspicuous lines are the work of Horacio Bozzo Design, who breathed life into the Owner’s vision.

Lurssen Superyacht Moon Sand review

With a reputation for building some of the world’s largest yachts, Lurrsen’s 55.5 meter Moon Sand is the smallest yacht delivered by the shipyard this year, but a definitive step to re-establish the brand’s position in the 55 - 75 meter size bracket. The first since 1995.

Peter Lurssen, CEO, confirmed the new direction by stating, “It’s exciting to build a boat of this size. It is like going back in time.”

Moon Sand is painstakingly customised to meet the new owner’s exacting specifications and has been developed to reflect a developed sense of spatial awareness and color. The British studio responsible for the yacht’s design; Bannenburg and Rowell were inspired by the classic 1973 Lurssen yacht; Carinthia VI.

International Superyacht Summit 2021

Initiated and co-organised by Fabulous Yachts with the patronage of P&O Marinas, the Superyacht Summit is to be held in the UAE. Since its launch in 2018, the summit has gained international attention from the yachting community. This year’s auspicious event will be held in collaboration with Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Maritime City Authority aboard Queen Elizabeth II at the Mina Rashid Marina.

Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost

Today the luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce launched the new member of the Black Badge family, the new Black Badge Ghost.
The new car was introduced to a selected group of owners and specialized media in a private ceremony.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars mentioned -“In the five years since Black Badge became publicly available, this bold family of motor cars has come to symbolize the pinnacle of a new type of super-luxury product, setting in motion a shift across the wider luxury industry. Custom Amels 78 is unveiled

She is set to be delivered in 2022, but Custom Amels 78 looks it to be the biggest fully custom superyacht the Dutch shipyard has ever built.

The superyacht's initial floating took place earlier this year in a private event at the Amels and Damen Yachting facilities in the Netherlands, attended by the owner's team.

Lurssen’s 115m Project Enzo Review, Owner.

On June 18th Lürssen unveiled and launched Project Enzo, an upcoming 115-meter superyacht. It was commissioned by a frequent client who was impressed by his previously purchased Lürssen, and felt that nobody else could meet his particular demands. He was so delighted with his previous experience with Lurssen that the build and design team remained unchanged.

The client desired a family-focused and healthy life yacht, something that Nuvolari-Lenard, designer of the project's interior and exterior, seemed to grasp perfectly. As Dan Lenard explained, she has three decks integrated into the high bow design to ensure seakeeping in true ocean conditions. An environmentally friendly design featuring an innovative full-beam owner suite duplex for guaranteed comfortable traveling. Project Enzo also includes a spacious wellness area situated on the lower deck and an extra-large gym on the sky lounge deck.

Fastnet 2021 Monohull Line Honours

Nautor Swan's Skoripios take victory of monohull line honours of this year's legendary Rolex Fastnet. The impressive team conquered outstanding achievements in their competitive debut facing 337 yachts, starting the team's history with an enormous victory. Led by Dmitry Rybolovlev, the team crossed the finish line at the elapsed time of 2 days, 8 hours, 33 minutes, and 55 seconds for the 695 nautical mile course.

Rolex Fastnet Race 2021

A substantial fleet of more than 300 yachts is set to compete in the 49th edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. The entry list is evidence once again of the illustrious status and widespread appeal of the event, which starts from Cowes on the Isle of Wight in England on Sunday 8 August.

Rolex this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of its partnership with the biennial competition and its organizers, the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC). The offshore race is one of the cornerstones of the brand’s enduring association with the sport of sailing.
