COMANCHE is a 100ft pre-preg carbon racing vessel launched in East Boothbay, Maine, in September of this current year. Earlier this month, she has sailed out in direction to Charleston, South Carolina, but this is only the first step in a long trajectory until final destination: Sydney, Australia.
A few days before she has passed the sea trials, set in Newport, with flying colours, although the weather for the offshore passage south was quite tricky and offered an amusing amount of resistance. Still COMANCHE has started off with the right foot and is already delivering some impressive performances, thats all we can say for the meantime.
