CNB 36 Hamilton II, a remarkable yacht

Originally designed to meet the specifications of Prince and Princess Sadruddin Aga Khan, the Hamilton II has an impressive interior and exterior. After the prince passed away, his family decided that CNB should complete the Hamilton II and launch it as a testimony to his love of yachting.

The prince would definitely be proud of this yacht. It is the largest yacht builder at the Bordeaux shipyard. Even apart from this accomplishment, though, it has numerous features that help it stand out as one of the most appealing 36-meter yachts in the world. Build from a carbon fiber composite/vinylester resin with a balsa core and a carbon mast and boom, the Hamilton II can sail in just about any weather condition. The ship's light weight means that her upwind sail area of 560 square meters offers more than enough power.

The CNB Hamilton II also has a luxuriousness that can only come from a carefully planned design. The saloon consists of a raised area in the middle of the boat. It contains glass roof panels that lets light flood the room, illuminating the beautiful wood interior. Window panels built into the walls not only let light into the saloon, but makes it easy for passengers to view the surrounding waters. Since the saloon is elevated, everyone has a spectacular view whether sitting or standing.

The owner has a private entrance to his cabin. Two additional cabins located mid-ship give guests plenty of room to enjoy their stay whether it is just for a relaxing weekend or a thrilling adventure around the world. The mid-ship engine room is located directly under the saloon, which leaves plenty of space for accommodations. In total, the vessel boasts five double staterooms for guests. Each cabin has its own bathroom, complete with shower, and sophisticated electronic entertainment system.

The Hamilton II also has a stunning exterior design based on classic yachts. Several of its design features make it look longer than it actually is. This adds to the vessel's authority on the water and its overall aesthetic. The designers reached this goal by locating the cockpit on the highly streamlined roof, installing windows with a greater length/height ratio, and using a flushed foredeck and teak roof.

CNB created something truly special when its experts designed the Hamilton II. Its sophisticated design, remarkable performance, and customized features make it a unique vessel that honors the legacy of its original owner while it continues to look forward to future adventures around the world.
