Azimut Design Team

Description

Azimut was founded in 1969 by a young university student called Paolo Vitelli . He began chartering sailing boats. In 1970 some important yachting brands choose the company to be the distributor of their boats in Italy. Azimut decide to make their first steps on designing yachts. They designed in a joint venture with Amerglass, the AZ 43' which was a huge success. The company began to expand its range, centering their attention on the lower end of the market.
