The new Allogante, keeps the most successful characteristics of her predecessors and benefits from the latest advances in nautical technology. One of these advances are the Caterpillar C32 engines, whose combination with twin propellers represents a much more efficient formula than that of the Caterpillar 3412 engine, used in previous vessels. However, the most significant improvement may be the installation of a stabilizing system reducing the ship movement caused by the swell, even when anchored.

Luxury shipyard Princess presented their new Princess 52' superyacht video, ahead of her debut appearances at the autumn boat shows.

The Perini Cup 2013 took place in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, last week, from the 28th to the 31st of August. The spectacular setting provided by the beautiful scenery and the exclusive Yacht Club Costa Smeralda was especially inspiring for the crew of SY Silencio.

The 5th edition of the world class Sailboat Racing event, the Perini Cup 2013, took place in Porto Cervo this past week from the 28th to the 31st of August in close collaboration with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The beautiful coast of Sardinia, Italy, witnessed a one-of-a-kind regatta with an impressive fleet of 15 Perini Navi vessels which raced through the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea and towards the honor of becoming the winner of the Perini Cup 2013.

With her accurate shapes designed by Javier Soto Acebal, and her interior decorations by Foster & Partners, this new sea animal has become the maximum expression of contemporary naval architecture. Embracing minimalism, this sparkling sculpture, with her high gunwales open to the sky, shows the purity of her hull lines as a principle of clarity.

At the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show, over 100 stupendous superyachts will be exhibited, amongst them many will be new launches which will be seen for the first time at this astonishing event. The megayacht shipyard Pryde will be one of them, presenting a completely new model: Illusion 88.8M.

Red Dragon is a 52m (171ft) performance cruising sloop designed and built for discerning European owners. The brief required a stylish yacht capable of fast passages and long periods of autonomy with a contemporary, bright interior.

The sports design of this 26-meter yacht has evolved from its preceding models, the 63 Vertigo and 68 Ego. Intended for long cruises and daytime trips, the Domino has numerous recreation areas, both in the bow and the stern, as well as in the bridge. The CRN shipyard, world leader in building luxury megayachts, had launched in April the eighth superyacht of the thriving Navetta 43 Line, under the name of Lady Genyr, which has now been delivered to the Owner. After its launch the 29th of April, Lady Genyr stayed in the Shipyard to allow the finishing touches of its interior which still had to be finished. Recently, at Ancona, a seaport in central Italy, this modern superyacht was delivered to its Owner and will surely be set out and enjoyed in the Mediterranean during the summer season.

Princess Yachts International has announced that their new 35 meter M CLASS cruising yacht will be ready by 2014, as consequence of their flagship Princess 10M's global success, Britain's largest composite motor yacht ever. The new Princess 35M will be a semi-custom motor yacht capable of cruising both at high and low speeds with an impressive long range and outstanding efficiency, while still having plenty of space to accommodate guests and crew easily, with large deck areas and spacious cabins.

In 2004, Perini Navi organized the first edition of the Perini Cup which took place from the 8th to the 11th of July. During those four intense days, sixteen exclusive Perini Navi vessels from 36 to 56 meters in length competed in both sporting and recreational sailboat racing competitions. This first regatta took place in the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo and Cala di Volpe, in Sardinia.

Amels, Holland's largest and most successful superyacht builder, will launch the avant-garde Amels 60-metre superyacht named EVENT at the Monaco Yacht Show this September. Imperial, responsible for the charter management, will be part of the collaborative efforts in order to display this impressive mega yacht. The vessel was designed by the renowned Tim Heywood.
