Last 22nd October, Lürssen, the famous shipyard, proudly delivered the new Azzam superyacht, the largest in the world.
Boasting an impressive 180 meter total length and with a top speed of over 30 knots, she also has another record under her belt, by having less than three years from steel cutting following one year of engineering.
Key to this mammoth task was the guidance and leadership of Eng. Mubarak Saad al Ahbabi, main designer and original creator of the project, who based the idea on his in-depth knowledge of the environment.
The person in charge of Azzam's innovative and timeless design was Mario Pedol from Nauta Yachts, while the interior design was done by renowned French designer Christophe Leoni.
