La Spezia, Italy – In a significant move for the semi-displacement yacht sector, Italian shipyard Baglietto has successfully launched the first unit of its new DOM115 line. The 35-meter motor yacht, which touched the water in recent days at the La Spezia facility, represents the entry-level model in the acclaimed DOM series, known for its emphasis on volume, livability, and connection to the sea.
This inaugural DOM115, built with a robust steel and aluminum hull, is a clear evolution of the design language established by its larger and highly successful predecessor, the DOM133. With exterior styling by the renowned Stefano Vafiadis, the yacht features contemporary, sporty lines that encapsulate impressive volumes, a characteristic that sets it apart in its size category.
The launch marks a strategic step for Baglietto, aiming to make high-end customization more accessible to a broader client base without compromising the shipyard's legacy of excellence and craftsmanship.
Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto's Chief Commercial Officer, commented on the launch with enthusiasm. “We are excited to see the first 35-meter yacht of our new DOM115 line finally hit the water,” he stated. "This project combines design, innovation, and functionality, created to offer an uncompromising cruising experience. We have the feeling this model will be a great success as it combines the features of a much larger yacht with the operational advantages of a 35m.”
