Marc Newson Designs Limited Edition Luxury Speedboat for Riva
Sarnico, May 20th 2010 - In a highly anticipated collaboration, Marc Newson has partnered with Riva and their official designers, Officina Italiana Design, to reinterpret the 'Aquariva' speedboat. 'Aquariva by Marc Newson' will be launched as a limited edition of 22 units in September 2010, available worldwide through Gagosian Gallery. "As a kid obsessed with designing and making things, post-war Italian design was a huge source of inspiration. I was amazed by the seamless ability of designers and industry to produce every conceivable type of industrial product, from furniture to automobiles. My own career has undoubtedly been influenced by the Italians' ability to impact so many areas of design," says Marc Newson. "That influence is fully evident in 'Aquariva by Marc Newson', my first nautical design project for the iconic Italian brand."

Perini Navi S/Y Fidelis, a yacht made to enjoy life
Designed by the Perini Navi Group's Technical and Design Department in collaboration with the New Zealand yacht designer, Ron Holland, S/Y Fidelis has a hull and superstructure in aluminum with an optimized displacement of 545 tons and a tonnage of 497 tons.
The ketch sail plan, designed and engineered by Perini Navi's Mast Division measures 1,500 square meters. Both the main and the mizzen masts are in aluminum and are respectively 58.37 and 47.97 meters high. The booms are both in carbon fiber and have in-boom furling systems.
This yacht has especially ample areas for enjoying life on deck with two cockpits, one fore, one aft, which allow owners and guests to enjoy generously comfortable outdoor spaces.
The 220ft Vertigo takes home another Award

The Azimut 58 Flybridge, designed by Stefano Righini, reflects in the seagreen color, dedicated to the first model, the beauty of the nature of islands and atolls and diffuses in the interiors of the saloon the luminosity of the external panoramas through huge expanses of glass and the new rectangular panoramic windows of the master cabin, for the first time openable. Scheherazade wins at Shipyard Cup X
EAST BOOTHBAY, MAINE – USA --- 20th of AUGUST 2012
SCHEHERAZADE skillfully outmaneuvered the fleet Sunday to take first place honors and winner overall at Shipyard Cup X.
True to the spirit of the event, the "winner overall trophy" was an engraved bucket and large bottle of Dom Pérignon. The bucket was filled with champagne and passed around to the winning crew. SCHEHERAZADE's owner drew great cheers from the crowd as he took his turn.
