The fifth Benetti Delfino 93', "Zaphira" (BD005), has been launched in October.
"Zaphira" is an irrefutable signal of this line's success, an excellent synthesis of Benetti's style and experience. As the third Delfino 93' launched in 2012, after "Azul" in April and "Ocean Drive" in June, "Zaphira" is easily distinguished by her magnificent blue hull and the ship's nameplate, created by the owner himself. BD005 has a semi displacement composite hull: with an overall length of 28.5 meters and a maximum beam of 7.03 meters, her external lines contain all the experience and style of Stefano Righini.
With her exceptional glass wall windows, a spectacular view is guaranteed, while natural illumination completely irradiates the interior. Designed by Carlo Galeazzi, the interior can host up to twelve guests in complete comfort. The Delfino 93 vaunts four guest cabins (two with double berths, two with twin berths plus two folding berths) in addition to the Owner's suite. Special attention has been paid to the styling: leather, fabrics, marble and wood. The contrast between light and dark colors predominates throughout all the interior, giving this yacht a decidedly modern feel.
Natural leather alternated with dark Ebony paneling for the interior, while natural teak compliments the Ebony coatings on the bridge. The bathrooms are in marble: the owner's in white Statuario and the guest's in white Spider, with red/orange veins. On deck, custom tables are made of bright teak checkerboard. Lighting is entirely by LEDs, hidden behind overhead diffusers, giving the impression of invisible light sources and perfectly integrated with the yacht's finishing. Two Caterpillar engines give this compact super-yacht a top speed of 14 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots, and a range of 1,500 nautical mile at 12 knots.
The fifth Delfino 93 will be delivered at the end of 2012.
