The Amels 60, designed with an exterior by Espen Øino, is focused on providing an unparalleled onboard experience characterized by a sense of freedom and spaciousness. The yacht also accommodates a 9-meter tender on the foredeck, adding to its impressive list of features. The innovative Project 823, a 67.40-metre superyacht, has emerged from the shadows into the bright daylight, showcasing its magnificent design and impeccable craftsmanship. Designed and built by Feadship at their Kaag yard, this new masterpiece is ready for final outfitting before its highly anticipated sea trials.

A Collaborative Design Effort

Project 405, aka Reichel / Pugh - Nauta 154, the Panamax sloop Nilaya, took a giant step forward with her departure from construction at Royal Huisman’s Vollenhove facility. This superyacht is the first to feature the builder’s Featherlight™ design and production method, reducing 11% of the weight compared to their aluminum cruising yachts without compromising stiffness or quality. It was achieved through a range of lightweight solutions combined in a holistic approach that makes Nilaya an ideal high-performance cruiser. As she heads toward Amsterdam for her towering rig installation, we eagerly await her maiden launch.

The Featherlight™ process employs Finite Element Analysis (FEA), an engineering methodology commonly used in spacecraft design. Leveraging FEA, our team strategically selected construction materials and varying Alustar aluminum plate thicknesses and frame spacings, resulting in increased hull stiffness without significantly increasing boat displacement. In-house weight management was also utilized to optimize mechanical systems, lighting, and insulation to get the most out of our design. Further still, lightweight foam coring was employed for all interior structural members for further weight reduction with minimal sacrifice of sailing performance.

The second unit of the new EXTRA X99 Fast motor yacht has been launched in Ancona. Created by ISA Yachts, this stunning vessel features naval architecture by Palumbo Superyachts and exteriors by Guida Design. Its striking exterior lines make the EXTRA range stand out from the competition.

Designed to navigate the shallow waters of the Caribbean, M/Y 141 is a high-performance superyacht measuring 60.33m in length, with a beam of 10.55m and gross tonnage of 1,114. With twin MTU engines that can power the yacht up to 25 knots, this vessel is perfectly suited for cruising and mooring in shallow water areas. The knowledgeable owners requested airy spaces with generous heights throughout all five decks and large areas accommodating both guests and crew - none of these needs were negotiable. On January 26th, the Benetti Shipyard in Livorno, Italy, released the FB283, a 62-meter Full Custom Yacht. This steel-hulled and aluminum-superstructure vessel was designed precisely to fulfill the customer’s specifications. Developed by renowned Naval Architect Giorgio Cassetta – including van Oossanen naval Architects’ hull lines – this yacht reflects exemplary craftsmanship and fine details.

FB283, the latest 62-meter vessel from Benetti, debuted with a special private event. This entire custom yacht was built to meet four specific desires of its owner: speed, silence, extended range, and unparalleled fun for their family. With features customized to match the customer’s exact requirements -- like a well-fitted suit! -- this yacht certainly met its goals. The entire project was overseen by Nicola Nicolai from Nicolai Yacht Consulting & Project Management, who served as an advisor before purchase and the Owner’s representative throughout construction. The platform is an automated energy and battery management system with an open-interface architecture. As a system integrator, Lürssen has designed this technology to incorporate the many individual technologies unique to each project. By using the sophisticated control and monitoring system Allviu, developed by its partner company besecke GmbH & Co. KG, the yacht can receive and process all relevant information, status reports, and faults and perform automatic or semi-automatic energy management tasks.

Turquoise Yachts is delighted to present the launch of 53m Jewels. With her chic, sharp lines and sleek geometry, Jewels is another one-of-a-kind yacht to join the Turquoise fleet. The ceremonies conducted under the theme of gold and glamour gave Jewels a warm welcome to the seas as the newest member of the Turquoise fleet. The event took place at the Pendik shipyard on 19 August in the company of the owners, guests, and the Turquoise team.

Jewels’ exterior design was created by Miami-based DeBasto Design, and her interior was done by London-based H2 Yacht Design. At 720 GT, Jewels offers a fantastic interior and exterior space, usually only found on much larger yachts. She has 8 + 1 guest staterooms, and the exterior deck areas are spacious and designed to entertain large groups and intimate gatherings. “No one will feel lost” says Luiz DeBasto. The Sun Deck offers around-the-clock entertainment with a hot tub, sun pads, TV, day head, bar, and open space.

The Monaco-based brand Wally has released new information about the latest model in its semi-displacement line, the wallywhy150, ahead of the upcoming show season. The new yacht, which was first introduced in July, follows in the footsteps of its much-admired predecessor, the wallywhy200. The wallywhy150 was created by the experienced Wally-Ferretti Group Engineering team, with Studio A. Vallicelli & C responsible for its contemporary interior design. The concept behind the wallywhy150 was to offer unparalleled exterior spaces on a 78-foot yacht.

Stefano de Vivo, Wally’s Managing Director, explains further: “The exterior areas are absolutely huge and are unmatched for her size. The upper deck is completely open, giving you an enormous amount of protected space on top, which is equivalent to what you would see on a 40-meter yacht (131’3’’). On board, you can enjoy a full dining setting on the sundeck, a sunbathing area, a shaded lounge, and much more – almost the full length of the boat is outside. This appeals to many contemporary owners who want to ensure they have a strong connection to the water.”

The new all-aluminium 60-meter CRN creation was launched for the first time in Ancona on 3 September 2022. The CRN 141 Project is CRN’s latest work of art to be christened in Ancona.

The M/Y 141, at 60.33 meters long and 10.55 meters in the beam, is the product of CRN’s design and construction experience merged with Italian architecture studio Nuvolari Lenard’s concepts for the interior and exterior. The end result is a one-of-a-kind yacht with 5 decks that can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests and 13 crew.

ISA GT 45 M/Y Aria SF is the latest addition to the ISA Yachts shipyard in Ancona, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts. At 45-metres, it features sharp and sporty exterior lines, marked by a plumb bow, with side arches connecting the three decks (a hallmark of the shipyard for over 20 years) and a fin-shaped hard top ascribing a light and slim look to the profile.

The naval architecture was developed by the Palumbo Superyachts technical team. The exterior design is by Team for Design - Enrico Gobbi, while the interior style is by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. Sea, light, and air are the main characters of any space on board, complemented by technical, functional, and minimal elements with a strong reference to cars, speed, and primary colors. The ISA GT 45 is a comfortable yacht with great outdoor livability and a disposition that facilitates the indoor/outdoor seamless connection, both visually and practically.
