Benetti will unveil both the hybrid M/Y Dagger from the B.Now 67M family and M/Y Perseverance, while Columbus Yachts will showcase M/Y Principessa Capricciosa, the latest addition to its Atlantique series, where contemporary Italian design embraces an uninterrupted dialogue with the sea.
One of the defining themes emerging this year is the industry’s commitment to more responsible cruising. Rather than treating sustainability as a separate concept, many builders are integrating cleaner technologies into the very foundation of their latest projects. Hybrid propulsion, advanced battery systems, electric propulsion and energy-efficient engineering are becoming increasingly common across a wide spectrum of yacht sizes. Visitors will see this philosophy reflected in projects such as Benetti’s hybrid M/Y Dagger, the diesel-electric innovations developed by Lürssen and the world premiere of Sunreef’s 100 Eco, combining electric propulsion, solar technology and the efficiency of sailing into a new vision of luxury cruising. The GX42 Superyacht also enters the spotlight with a fresh approach that pairs sophisticated design with sustainable performance.
Equally fascinating is the growing emphasis on creating yachts that reflect each owner’s unique lifestyle. Rather than following established formulas, today’s projects are increasingly shaped around highly individual visions. Few examples illustrate this better than Oceanco’s remarkable pairing of the recently delivered Leviathan and Draak. Developed as companion yachts supporting Gabe Newell’s Inkfish initiative, they demonstrate how superyachts can extend beyond leisure to support scientific research, exploration and global expeditions, while introducing innovative approaches to crew wellbeing and onboard collaboration.
The spirit of exploration continues to influence yacht design across the industry. Sirena Superyachts will unveil its new 42-metre flagship, marking an important milestone for the Turkish builder with a yacht designed for extended cruising, generous outdoor living and exceptional versatility. Tankoa will introduce the 45-metre M/Y Singolare, while RMK Yachts is expected to reveal a closely guarded 50-metre concept by Espen Øino, reminding visitors that the next generation of custom projects is already taking shape.
For sailing enthusiasts, Monaco remains an essential destination. The elegant 62-metre S/Y SIMENA from ARES Yachts will be among the largest sailing superyachts attending the show after an active first Mediterranean season under sail. Vitters Shipyard will also be represented by S/Y Magic and S/Y Anomaly, while simultaneously looking ahead with several ambitious custom projects currently under construction in the Netherlands. Together, these yachts demonstrate that the appeal of sailing continues to grow alongside the motor yacht sector, offering owners an experience that combines performance, craftsmanship and a profound connection with the sea.
Perhaps the most encouraging message emerging from this year’s Monaco Yacht Show is that innovation is no longer measured solely by length or volume.
