NAVIS Spring/Summer 2025 Yachting Apparel Collection

As any seasoned yachtsman knows, the right gear is an extension of performance, comfort, and character. For the Spring/Summer 2025 season, NAVIS has curated a standout collection from three of the most trusted names in the sport: Helly Hansen, Musto, and Gill. Each brand brings its own design DNA and technical vision to the deck, offering apparel that speaks to both innovation and identity.

Helly Hansen delivers a bright, bold lineup rooted in heritage, reengineered for coastal leisure and light offshore use. Musto leans into its refined EVO relaunch, with pieces that look sharp dockside and perform under pressure offshore. And with 50 years behind it, Gill anchors the season with forward-thinking materials and rugged, race-ready utility, engineered for everything from round-the-cans regattas to transoceanic adventure.

Together, this collection is about owning the conditions, staying in sync with your crew and your craft, and embracing each passage, from the first tack out of the marina to the last tie-down at dusk.

Let’s get into it.

Helly Hansen

Helly Hansen has never been shy about merging style with substance, and their Spring/Summer 2025 Marine Lifestyle Collection leans all the way in. Designed for days that drift from deck to dock to dinner ashore, this lineup covers the full coastal spectrum. From tech-forward weatherproof shells to laid-back polos and striped knits, it’s gear that doesn’t scream “technical,” but performs like it.

Helly Hansen Pier 4.0 Jacket and Bibs

If you’re heading out in anything more than a breeze and a blue sky, the Pier 4.0 kit from Helly Hansen is what you want zipped up. Built off decades of real-world feedback and heritage design, this jacket-and-bib combo hits the mark for serious coastal cruising and inshore missions. The HELLY TECH® Performance fabric is the real star here, waterproof, breathable, and rugged enough to take a squall on the nose. Bonus points for the sustainability angle: much of the material is recycled, and the DWR treatment is PFC-free.

From a fit and function standpoint, the jacket is cleverly cut, plenty of mobility through the arms, even when layered or wearing a lifejacket. The brushed tricot collar is a nice comfort touch, and the packable neon hood tucks away cleanly without bulk. Pockets? Plenty: double entry hand pockets, chest warmers, and a zipped inner chest pocket. Out there, when everything’s wet and moving fast, that kind of storage setup matters.

As for the bibs, they’ve clearly been sailor-tested. Reinforced knees and seat, adjustable suspenders with a better stretch profile, and a smart 2-way zip with a fan-shaped flap, because real-world use doesn’t happen in calm conditions. They move well, they dry fast, and they take abuse. The women’s version especially deserves a nod for its refined fit, functional without feeling boxy.

Bottom line: This is the most technically advanced piece in Helly’s Spring/Summer 2025 line. It’s the right call for anyone who’s logging serious time on the water, not just for the weatherproofing, but for the confidence it gives you when conditions shift. I’ve worn gear like this through enough rough crossings to say it straight: with the Pier 4.0 set, you’re covered, literally and practically.

Koster All-Weather Jacket

A nod to the ‘90s with a sharp update, the Koster All-Weather Jacket brings legit technical chops to a casual silhouette. This one’s for when you’re off the boat but still dealing with unpredictable skies, think dockside dinners, weekend cabin runs, or rainy urban commutes.

Both men’s and women’s versions use HELLY TECH® Performance and a fully taped 2-layer construction, so you’re dry without that rubbery, overbuilt feel. The packable hood, adjustable hem and cuffs, and snap-secure hand pockets all punch above their weight in terms of practicality.

At 680 grams, it’s light enough to wear all day, and the retro color blocking gives it a bit of attitude. Real talk: it’s not your offshore shell, but for everything short of that, this jacket’s a rock-solid choice.

Koster All-Weather Jacket

HP Hybrid Stretch Insulator

This is the kind of midlayer that quietly becomes a go-to. The HP Hybrid Stretch Insulator hits that sweet spot for inshore sailing, lightweight, warm, and cut to move. You’re getting synthetic blowable insulation mapped across the body where you need it, with a soft fleece lining that adds warmth without bulk. It works well under a shell or solo on mild, spray-heavy days.

HH nails the fit and flexibility here, articulated elbows, 2-way stretch, and a trim profile that moves clean on deck. The DWR finish helps shrug off light moisture, and zippered pockets keep the essentials secure. Nice to see real performance packed into a sub-500g piece, especially with sustainable materials in the mix.

If you’re layering smart and sailing fast, this is a jacket that earns its keep.

MUSTO BR3 Offshore Jacket

MUSTO

MUSTO is playing to its strengths with the newly updated EVO Collection, streamlined name, sharper looks, and materials that feel pulled from the edge of performance tech. Whether you’re suiting up for a regatta or dialing in your kit for long summer passages, this season’s EVO lineup is all about range. Crew gear is built to unify teams with smart protection against wind, spray, and sun. The Sport line pushes harder, aimed at sailors who cross-train or live in activewear on and off the water. Lightweight, engineered, and unmistakably Musto, this is gear with purpose.

MUSTO BR3 Offshore Jacket

This is Musto at full throttle. The BR3 Offshore Jacket is the crown jewel of their Spring/Summer 2025 EVO line, a sharp, race-ready shell built for sailors who demand performance and polish in equal measure. It’s engineered with Ocean Tech Pro™, Musto’s fully waterproof, breathable fabric system that’s battle-tested in real conditions and cut for aggressive inshore or offshore sailing.

You feel the intent the moment you throw it on. The 4-way stretch and articulated sleeves give you full mobility when you’re grinding winches or ducking under the boom. The hood design is standout, race-fit with a stiffened bonded peak that stays clear of your line of sight, and a 2-way adjustment system that actually locks in place without fiddling. Drainage holes in the hand pockets prevent pooling, while PU-faced cuffs lock out water at the wrists.

The detailing’s also dialed in. Reflective panels are well-placed and visible without making you look like a hazard cone. The soft fleece chin guard is subtle, but it matters on long days when you’re zipped all the way up. And the laser-cut drainage around the pockets is the kind of feature you don’t notice until the moment you really need it.
If you sail hard and want a jacket that keeps up, this one’s a no-brainer. It’s built smart, it wears lean, and it’s clearly been designed by people who’ve spent serious time on the water.

MUSTO BR3 Offshore Jacket

BR3 Sport Jacket

This one’s made to move. The BR3 Sport Jacket brings the same serious intent as its offshore sibling, but with a lighter build dialed for inshore racing and warm-weather action. You get Musto’s Ocean Tech Pro™ fabric, fully waterproof, fully breathable, paired with 4-way stretch and articulated sleeves that actually make a difference when you’re in motion.

It’s got the practical stuff covered too: PU-faced cuffs, laser-cut drainage, and a race-style hood with bonded peak that won’t cut your vision mid-tack. The fit is trim, the details are race-ready, and the overall feel is all go, no bulk.

For sailors who want a technical shell without the weight of offshore armor, this is the one to beat.

BR3 Sport jacket

LPX GORE-TEX Jacket

The LPX GORE-TEX Jacket is all about precision. Built for high-output inshore and coastal sailing, it’s stripped down where it should be, and reinforced where it counts. The 3-layer recycled polyester GORE-TEX construction means waterproofing you can trust, without the bulk or heat buildup you get from heavier shells.

You’ve got a detachable hood, adjustable hem and cuffs, and a raglan sleeve design that keeps movement totally unrestricted, especially important when things get physical. The brushed tricot collar and fleece chin guard make it surprisingly comfortable for something so minimalist.

Lightweight, breathable, and built with longevity in mind, this is the jacket you grab when the breeze is up, the course is tight, and you need gear that stays out of your way but has your back.

EVO Polos – Pro Lite 2.0 & Crew Sunblock

Whether you’re rigging lines at sunrise or grabbing lunch at the club, MUSTO’s EVO polos deliver the perfect crossover between technical function and casual style. The Men’s Pro Lite 2.0 leans into a polished look with a subtle logo, ribbed collar and cuffs, and a UPF 50-rated recycled fabric that handles high heat with ease. It’s ideal for layering or standing alone on summer days when presentation still matters.

Part of a refreshed EVO Collection for the summer sailing season, these pieces offer new designs, new looks, and the latest fabric technology. The Women’s Crew Sunblock Polo, for example, brings sun-smart performance with moisture-wicking stretch fabric, a textured inner surface to enhance breathability, and a flattering silhouette that’s designed for active crew use. Paired with its counterpart, both are bluesign® approved, quick to dry, and reliable staples for warm-weather sailing or shoreside downtime.

They are crafted to be core components of the everyday sailing uniform.

Sardinia BR1 Jacket

Light, sharp, and deceptively capable, the Sardinia BR1 Jacket is the kind of shell that earns its spot in your bag season after season. Built for warm-weather cruising, it’s fully waterproof and windproof, but thanks to the mesh lining, it breathes well enough to wear over just a tee or technical base layer.

There’s a subtle polish to the cut, more tailored than tactical, which makes it ideal for slipping ashore without feeling overdressed. Smart details like zippered hand and chest pockets, an internal stash pocket with headphone port, and a bluesign®-certified fabric give it both function and eco-cred.

It’s the perfect grab-and-go jacket when you don’t want to think twice, whether you’re catching the last breeze on deck or heading out for an espresso run in port.

EVO Deck Fast Dry UV Trouser

Built for serious mobility and fast-paced days on the water, the EVO Deck Fast Dry UV Trousers are a must-have for any sailor who prefers shorts only when absolutely necessary. The 2-way stretch ripstop fabric dries fast, wears light, and offers UPF 40 protection, making it ideal for exposed conditions when you’re on your feet and in motion.

You get real-world functionality here, articulated knees, a gusseted crotch, cargo pockets, and a button-adjustable waist for dialing in the fit. These are made to work hard, handle spray, and stay sharp-looking after hours of movement.

Great on the deck, and just as solid heading ashore for dinner. No compromise necessary.

2024 09 15 Gill 6724 copy

Gill

Gill is a brand that’s earned its reputation the hard way: out on the water, year after year. Celebrating 50 years of innovation, Gill has never followed the crowd. From building their own performance fabrics to solving problems before sailors knew they had them, this British brand has stayed firmly in its lane, engineered functionality for every level of sailor, from dinghy racers to offshore diehards. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection reflects that DNA: sharp gear, smart materials, and design that favors the water over the runway. If you’re after kit that’s been battle-tested by real sailors, Gill is still in its own class.

Gill OS2 Offshore Jacket – 50th Anniversary Edition

This one’s more than just a nod to heritage, Gill’s 50th Anniversary Edition OS2 Offshore Jacket is a technical evolution that stands on the shoulders of five decades of serious gear-making.

Pulled from their archives but built for today’s offshore sailor, this limited release is a battle-ready shell designed with everything Gill has learned since 1975.

At its core is Gill’s proprietary XPLORE® 2-layer waterproof and breathable fabric, upgraded with a PFC-free water repellent finish that manages to be eco-conscious without compromising on durability. Every seam is taped, every closure is thought through. The high-cut collar and integrated roll-away face guard provide serious weather protection, while the fleece-lined interior adds all-day comfort in cold, wet conditions.

The hood is fully lined, hi-vis, and features a 3-way adjustment system that actually works without fuss. Zippers are YKK® anti-corrosion, storm flaps are double-sealed, and the PU inner cuffs are watertight without digging into your wrists. Even the handwarmer pockets come with reversible fleece, one of those small details you only appreciate after hours of cold watch duty.

In short, this is serious offshore gear, retooled for modern expectations with a respectful nod to Gill’s pioneering roots. Whether you’re gearing up for a coastal crossing or weeks offshore, this anniversary OS2 is more than worthy of its milestone badge. It wears like a flagship, and performs like one too.

OS2 Offshore Bib

Designed to go the distance, the OS2 Offshore Bib is the rugged counterpart to the anniversary jacket, and it delivers. Built with XPLORE® 2-layer waterproof fabric and a PFAS-free DWR finish, this updated version brings improved comfort, durability, and protection for extended offshore wear.

The hybrid stretch bracer system and elasticated waist make fit adjustment smooth, even over layers, while abrasion-resistant panels reinforce key wear zones. A 2-way zipper with internal gusset, deep thigh pocket with D-ring, and adjustable ankle closures round out a spec sheet built for real work on rough seas.
It’s the kind of bib you forget you’re wearing, until the weather hits, and you’re glad you are.

Verso Jacket

Light, sharp, and built to move, the Verso Jacket is Gill’s answer for inshore sailors who need full protection without the bulk. It’s made from XPLORE+® 3-layer waterproof fabric with XPEL® plant-based water and stain repellent, which means you stay dry, clean, and comfortable even when the spray kicks up or the rigging gets messy.

The packable hi-vis hood adjusts easily and stays put, while PU inner cuffs, Aquaguard zips, and a longer drop hem help lock out water in active conditions. Bonus: the quick-dry fleece-lined collar adds just the right touch of comfort for long sessions on the rail.

Perfect for coastal racers or day sailors who want streamlined protection with pro-level details

Meridian Hoodie

Don’t let the casual look fool you, the Meridian Hoodie is a functional midlayer built with intent. Made from recycled polyester with a thermal brushed interior, it balances everyday comfort with real wind resistance and warmth for early starts and breezy days.

The fitted hood layers cleanly under a shell, and the removable gaiter is a clever add for dialing up protection without committing to a neck warmer. You also get a concealed zip pocket in the kangaroo pouch, which is perfect for stashing small essentials securely.

It’s soft, sharp, and easy to care for, ideal when you need warmth without bulk or complication.

Pursuit Short Sleeve Top

When heat’s high and movement matters, the Pursuit Short Sleeve Top delivers. Made from a lightweight, high-stretch recycled fabric, it’s cut for active use on deck with raglan sleeves for full mobility and UPF 50+ sun protection to shield you during long hours under the boom.

It wicks, it dries fast, and it’s got reflective details for added safety in changing light. Pair it with Gill’s UV Stretch Pro Shorts, and you’ve got a breathable, all-day kit built for high summer sailing.

Quest 1/4 Zip Top

Simple, sharp, and built for layering, the Quest 1/4 Zip is a go-anywhere fleece that works just as well dockside as it does under a shell in rougher weather. Made from a recycled polyester blend, it strikes a balance between breathability and warmth, with wicking properties that keep you dry when things heat up.

The thermal brushed interior adds soft comfort without piling, and the low-profile fit slides easily under foul weather gear. Whether you’re pairing it with the Quest Leggings or using it solo on a dry, cool day, this is one of those essentials you reach for again and again.

Gill Rolling Cargo Bag 90L

Once the gear is sorted, getting it there becomes the next challenge, and Gill’s Rolling Cargo Bag 90L is built exactly for that. Crafted from durable polyester and waterproof tarpaulin, this rugged hauler is designed to take the beating of dock life, gear runs, and spontaneous crew transfers.

The smooth-rolling wheels, toughened base, and reinforced guardrails make light work of long treks across marinas or airports, while the U-shaped opening gives clear access to its cavernous 90-liter interior. Add in ventilated end compartments, internal mesh organizers, and cushioned grab handles, and you’re looking at one of the smartest ways to keep kit organized between land and sea.

Stow it, roll it, stuff it, this is the bag for everything else you just read.

While this curated selection captures the highlights of Spring/Summer 2025’s most advanced sailing apparel, each product featured here holds layers of detail, materials, construction, and fit, that reward deeper exploration. These are purpose-built garments designed for specific conditions and disciplines, and the performance benefits often reveal themselves only over time and use. For readers interested in learning more, NAVIS encourages direct engagement with the brands or with our editorial team to dive further into the collection’s nuances and select the right gear for your season ahead.
