Admiral Armani 72m Megayacht Launched: A Fusion of High Fashion and Nautical Excellence

MARINA DI CARRARA, Italy – The Italian Sea Group has celebrated a significant milestone with the launch of the first megayacht designed in collaboration with the iconic fashion house Giorgio Armani. The Admiral Armani 72m megayacht was officially launched on May 7, 2025, at The Italian Sea Group's headquarters in Marina di Carrara. This event marks the realization of a unique partnership that brings together the distinct stylistic vision of Giorgio Armani with the renowned naval engineering expertise of The Italian Sea Group.

The launch ceremony was attended by the owner's team, representatives from the Armani Group, local authorities, and the dedicated team at The Italian Sea Group who contributed to the creation of this vessel. This 72-meter megayacht is the first of two projects entirely designed by Giorgio Armani, showcasing his unmistakable style in both the exterior lines and the sophisticated interiors.

A Synthesis of Style and Engineering

The collaboration between Giorgio Armani and Centro Stile of The Italian Sea Group has resulted in a yacht that represents a perfect synthesis of stylistic sophistication and nautical excellence. The project achieves a harmonious balance between minimalist aesthetics and advanced technologies, aiming to redefine the standards of high-end luxury yachting.

The exterior lines of the Admiral Armani 72m reveal a strong architectural signature, where geometric volumes elegantly alternate with curved surfaces, creating a structure that is both dynamic and rigorous. Satin aluminum and steel details are integrated to reflect light, producing a sophisticated play of reflections, while expansive floor-to-ceiling windows seamlessly connect the interiors with the surrounding seascape.

The upper decks are designed as suspended terraces, providing versatile spaces that offer freedom and flexibility. From open-air lounges ideal for relaxation and entertainment to a dedicated helicopter landing area, every detail has been meticulously crafted with both functionality and elegance in mind.

Interiors by Armani/Casa

The interiors, designed by Armani/Casa, significantly amplify the vision of the renowned designer. Fine materials such as Black Marquinia marble, golden Calacatta, and Canaletto walnut are prevalent. These materials are blended with mirrors, handcrafted lighting fixtures, and carefully selected fabrics to create an atmosphere that is intimate, sophisticated, and timeless. The décor is characterized by a bold yet relaxed approach, combining discreet luxury with a sartorial attention to detail.

Reflections from the CEO

Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group, commented on the significance of this launch, stating, "This yacht represents the confluence of Giorgio Armani's poetic elegance and The Italian Sea Group's technical excellence". He described the project as "A creative journey that has turned a dream into a reality that sails the seas with grace".

The Italian Sea Group is recognized as a global operator in luxury yachting, listed on Euronext Milan, and is active in the construction and refit of motor and sailing yachts up to 140 meters. The company operates several distinguished brands, including Admiral, known for elegant and prestigious yachts; Tecnomar, recognized for sporty, cutting-edge design and high performance; Perini Navi, an excellence in large sailing yachts; and Picchiotti, a historical brand with classic and elegant lines. Additionally, the company has a business unit, NCA Refit, dedicated to maintenance and refit services for yachts over 60 meters.

The partnership with Giorgio Armani is in line with The Italian Sea Group's strategic positioning and its collaborations with important Italian luxury brands.
