With a profile that is characteristic of upscale Italian design and defined by a sleek architecture, Rossinavi 50m Superyacht LEL emphasizes the combined use of open-air, space, and water, which was the owner’s original specification, and features oversized gathering areas and salons. With interior and an exterior design by Luca Dini, M/Y LEL has been constructed as a vessel for all seasons. This is the first collaboration between Rossinavi and Luca Dini. Superyacht LEL took two years in design and construction before being delivered to the new owner.
The Rossinavi team uses the latest technology and employs an aggressive but sporty design to harness the owner’s style requirements. Expansive and generous proportions of the yachts common areas make LEL a one-of-a-kind in its segment with a dramatic exterior silhouette that attracts and inspires admirers. Built on an aluminum superstructure over a fast-displacement hull, this three-deck superyacht can accommodate up to 13 guests in 6 cabins and a crew of 9. With Naval Architecture supplied by Arrabito Naval Architects and powered by dual 12V 4000 M93L engines producing 6920HP, LEL can easily maintain a cruising speed of 21 knots and a range of 4000 nautical miles and can achieve a top speed of 25 knots.
LEL’s external styling uses an advanced modern design that creates a striking, dynamic profile, blending the deck lines into the yachts hull, creating a solid and sophisticated style that generates a harmonious feel but hints at a sports level performance capability.
Boarding the superyacht conveys the immediate impression of an airy, cool state of the art design combined with an ultramodern and cultured space; and the emphasis is most definitely on ‘space.’ LEL’s design team has done the utmost possible to maximize all available living and entertaining areas aboard the vessel to provide as much room as possible. Once on the main deck, the main salon’s entrance is designed to be welcoming and inviting. The soft and subtle tones of the carpet with its geometric design leads the eye immediately to the ample seating area, where the muted colors of the plush carpeting are reflected in the soft couch cushions.
The large seating area is graced by a substantial and modern coffee table with rounded corners in a white modern lacquered finish, with underlit recessed borders, forming the central point of the salon. The eye is immediately drawn to the substantial wall of windows lining the external wall of the room. Several right-angled arches are created with interspersed beams that rise upwards between each large pane of glass and travel across the ceiling at equal intervals creating a soaring, open effect. A visual image completed by the dramatic lighting running the length of each beam edge adds a touch of modern flair. Elegance and timelessness are captured in this refined interior by using luxurious furnishing and materials, soft leather, and elegant textiles.
