As of December 2018, Benetti can be proud to say that they have successfully delivered yet another beautiful yacht to her owners. In a well-organized ceremony that the Italian company—which has been operating since 1873—has described as “charged with emotion”, the mega yacht was able to arrive in make its official debut without any problems.
Led by Argentinian architect Horacio Bozzo, the team sought to create a yacht that paid careful attention to exterior lines while also focusing on peak performance. The owner also had several specific requests and their input was accounted for throughout the entirety of the design process.
At 48.77 meters (160 feet), this ship is long enough to include everything that the owner had dreamed of while still having a very agile and athletic feel. The beam maximum is 9.1 meters and the draft maximum is 2.45 meters, which are both lengths that are entirely appropriate for the specific layout of this ship as a whole.
Powered by three Kohler-branded generators and capable of containing more than 15,000 gallons worth of fuel, this 485 ton aluminum masterpiece is capable of reaching an impressive speed of 14 knots. The team was well aware that performance was an absolute necessity and, as is abundantly apparent to anyone who has had the opportunity to witness this yacht in motion, they were able to deliver.
As a product of the company recognized for being the “oldest Italian builder of motor yachts and an icon of timeless Italian styling and construction excellence”, Eladrea is a clear demonstration that Benetti knows exactly what they are doing. But in addition to the engineering and architectural excellence embodied by the boat, the Benetti Style Department was also able to make some significant contributions in the world of interior design.
The ship itself has a very modern feel, while also adhering to some of the classic yacht themes that have been able to withstand the scrutiny of time. In addition to ample room for dining, those aboard the ship will be able to experience a large beach club, a carefully decorated lounge, various personal amenities, and—perhaps most importantly of all—ample outdoor deck space.
As you move about the primary dining area and the lounge, you will quickly come to recognize that the ship itself managed to feature some of the world’s top luxury brands. Features from Poltrona Frau, Giorgettia, Softhouse, and Arketipo all help embody the ship’s overarching level of prestige.
Between the sun deck, the surprisingly spacious bars, and even the “full-blown gaming room”, it is clear that this ship is one that was designed with the intentions of creating a very social atmosphere. Capable of containing a multitude of guests in luxurious quarters, Eladera is a yacht that seemingly anyone in the world would enjoy.
There are many beautiful years ahead for Eladera, which gives the owner something very exciting to look forward.
