At the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show, over 100 stupendous superyachts will be exhibited, amongst them many will be new launches which will be seen for the first time at this astonishing event. The megayacht shipyard Pryde will be one of them, presenting a completely new model: Illusion 88.8M.
Illusion's exterior design will be done by the London-based yacht designers Rainsford Mann, which offer a full service in luxury superyacht design. Rainsford Mann Design has produced a shiny and graceful exterior inspired by Rolls-Royce that combines perfectly with the luxurious look of Illusion's interior.
This 88.8-meter superyacht Illusion has the interior designed by one of the most experienced megayacht designers: Sander Sinot. Sinot's designs are well-known by their functionality, shape and elegance. He has travelled all over the world and is continually stimulated by old traditions as well as new developments. Illusion has seven big staterooms which have enough places for fourteen guests. Rolls-Royce has supplied Sinot Yacht Design with high-tech equipment as exceptional woods, stone and metallic finishes for its interior as well as two 3,000hp Rolls Royce diesel-electric engines that may reach a top speed of 14 to 17 knots.
Megayacht Illusion will be delivered around the earliest months of 2015 and will be the first to come from the Chinese shipyard, Pryde, formally known as China International Marine Containers (CIMC Raffles Yacht). Recently, China's Raffles Yacht has rebranded the company as Pryde superyacht shipyard which is located on China's Yantai Peninsula. Illusion 88M is the largest yacht ever built in China and its model will be present in September at this year's Monaco Yacht Show.
