Marina di Carrara, Italy – The Italian Sea Group has announced the successful delivery of the 55-metre superyacht M/Y Raja² from its Admiral S-Force line. The fully custom aluminium motor yacht, developed entirely by the shipyard's in-house design team, Centro Stile, marks another significant achievement for the prominent Italian builder and reinforces its position in the global superyacht market.
Raja² was developed in close collaboration with the owner's representatives at IYC and Med Waves Charters, who played a key role in translating the owner's distinct vision into a fully realized vessel. The result is a yacht defined by a powerful aesthetic and a unique, sophisticated style that blends high performance with exceptional comfort.
Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group, commented on the delivery, stating, "Raja² is a bold and sophisticated project that combines aesthetics, comfort, and innovative technology in a unique way. We are proud to deliver a yacht that perfectly expresses our values of excellence, craftsmanship, and innovation."
A Design That Connects with the Sea
The exterior profile of Raja² is characterized by sleek, flowing lines that create a dynamic and powerful silhouette. Her design emphasizes a direct connection to the marine environment, most notably through an open stern platform that offers expansive sea access.
A key architectural feature is the extensive use of glazing along the superstructure. These large, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interior spaces with natural light, blurring the lines between the yacht’s interior and the surrounding seascape. This design philosophy creates an immersive on-the-water experience for all guests aboard.
The yacht’s well-conceived layout maximizes outdoor living and onboard amenities. Key features include:
- A sprawling sundeck complete with a Jacuzzi, sunbathing pads, and alfresco dining areas.
- A touch-and-go helipad for seamless arrivals and departures.
- A spacious tender garage designed to house a 7.5-metre tender and a comprehensive collection of water toys.
Bold Interiors and Artisanal Detailing
The interior of Raja² showcases a contemporary and daring design language. The décor is a masterful blend of fine materials, striking colour palettes, and handcrafted details that create a highly distinctive and elegant atmosphere.
Throughout the yacht, mirrored surfaces are used to enhance the sense of space and light. These are contrasted with three-dimensional marbles and rich, dark woods, while vibrant accent colours add a layer of personality and visual interest. This intricate combination of textures and tones results in an environment that is both luxurious and uniquely tailored to the owner's tastes.
