This 80-metre vessel is not merely another hull hitting the water. It represents the very first delivery from the highly anticipated Amels 80 Limited Editions design series. Øino, a designer known for some of the world's most iconic gigayachts, has penned a silhouette for PANGEA that appears sleek despite her substantial 2,175 Gross Tonnage volume.
The vessel measures 80 metres (261 feet) in length with a beam of 12.5 metres (41 feet). These dimensions provide the canvas for a layout that emphasizes connection to the sea while maintaining distinct zones for privacy and social interaction. The exterior spaces are designed to be as functional as they are aesthetic. A prime example is the inclusion of a touch-and-go helicopter landing area. This ensures the vessel is accessible in remote locations or capable of facilitating rapid transport for guests.
The operational capabilities of the yacht have been optimized through smart layout choices. PANGEA features a dedicated forward tender garage. By placing the storage for watercraft and toys in the bow, the design team freed up the premium real estate at the stern for guest use. Interior Innovation and Layout
The interior of PANGEA was realized by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. The brief for the Amels 80 series demanded a customizable interior that could rival fully bespoke builds. Sinot has delivered a configuration that prioritizes space and light. The accommodation arrangement is designed for 14 guests across seven suites. This offers flexibility for large multi-generational families or charter operations.
The crown jewel of the accommodation layout is undoubtedly the Owner’s Deck. Spanning a dedicated deck level, this private apartment covers 517 square metres. This massive footprint allows for a level of privacy rarely seen on vessels of this size class. It effectively gives the principal a self-contained sanctuary separate from the guest areas. The remaining six guest cabins are situated on the Main Deck. Placing guest suites on the Main Deck rather than the Lower Deck is a significant design advantage. In the social areas, the connection between the interior and the surrounding environment is paramount. The Main Deck Lounge features floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that offer unobstructed views over the ocean. One of the most technically impressive features of the yacht is located on the Main Deck Aft. Here, a 6.5-metre swimming pool serves as a focal point for outdoor entertainment. However, its function goes beyond leisure. The pool features a glass bottom that acts as a skylight for the Beach Club situated directly below. High above on the Sun Deck, the design continues to cater to relaxation. The deck is equipped with an oversized jacuzzi. This adheres to the signature spaciousness expected from the Amels brand.
