The MPYD team of professionals combines advanced technology with engineering and efficient design to accomplish the company's philosophy: "Fusion of art and science". The industry has recognized the firm's work with numerous award and trophies, and MPYD's designs have achieved world records and more than 200 UIM Class I wins on the way to winning 13 Offshore Racing World Championships.

This hull was the starting point for MPYD's development of stepped hulls and the relationship with Intrepid Powerboats. In 1990, Michael was awarded the prestigious E.C Kiekhaefer Memorial Award for Innovation in Offshore Racing.
Since 1981, over 30,000 boats have been built to the more than 350 designs produced by Michael Peters Yacht Design. Each MPYD client has his own personal taste, requirements, and exclusive ideas. In order to achieve a thriving result, the MPYD team listens to each client intently.
Some firms stand out at style, others at performance. Michael Peters Yacht Design has the distinctive ability to stand out in both.
