Dutch custom yacht builder Oceanco has officially delivered the 111-meter (364ft) motor yacht DreAMBoat, formerly known as Project Y726. Commissioned in 2022 for a repeat client, this massive vessel boasts a volume of 4,550 GT, making it one of the largest yachts by volume ever constructed by the Alblasserdam shipyard.
However, the true headline of this launch is not just the scale, but the speed. DreAMBoat represents a paradigm shift in superyacht construction, having been delivered in November 2025—just four years after initial discussions began in November 2021.
A New Standard in Efficiency
In an industry where lead times for gigayachts often stretch half a decade or more, Oceanco achieved a delivery timeline approximately 18 months shorter than the typical schedule for a full custom project of this size.
This "unprecedented pace" was made possible by the owner's proactive involvement and previous experience building with Oceanco. The project moved from contract signing in February 2022 to delivery in November 2025, a feat Project Director Edske Smit attributes to "trusting collaboration" and rapid decision-making during the first year of the build.
Design and Lifestyle
DreAMBoat features naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects in partnership with Oceanco. The exterior, penned by Espen Øino International, utilizes extensive glass to flood the interior with natural light. Inside, Mark Berryman Design has created a "warm and refined" atmosphere capable of accommodating up to 28 guests and 34 crew.

DreAMBoat is also a vessel defined by its environmental foresight. The owner utilized the build to co-develop a pioneering Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool with Oceanco and Royal Haskoning. This tool measures the yacht's carbon footprint across both construction and operation, allowing for data-driven decisions to reduce impact.
Technical innovations resulting from this assessment include a battery pack for peak shaving to lower operational emissions and the use of sustainable interior finishes from Nature Squared.
