Benetti 67m Superyacht Kasper 7

Benetti’s 67-Meter Kasper 7 Sets A Pleasant, Playful Atmosphere

The Benetti full custom yacht Kasper smoothly transforms the 67-meter design into a bona fide beach home on the water. Taking cues from the Livorno shipyard, from Giorgio Maria Cassetta of the Rome exterior design firm Cassetta Yacht Designers, and from owner Nisrine Karagulla and her deep experience in interior design, Kasper’s persona embraces spacious, radiant, chic, and playful details.

Kasper was delivered in August of 2023 and continues to gather attention and hardware at awards ceremonies and yacht shows, underscoring the merits of her form and function. The owners’ vision of their new home on the water was skillfully interpreted by Giorgio Maria Casseta, breathing life into their aspirations as they transformed from concept to lines on paper, and finally to the actual build.

The owner, who founded the Askdeco Interior Design Studio in Beirut, made use of her considerable design experience in luxury real estate, contributing through selections of style, interior décor, wood selection, and interior layout.

Kasper By The Numbers

Kasper’s steel hull 1250 GT displacement yacht with aluminum superstructure measures 67.16 meters in length, with an 11.20m beam, and a 3.10-meter draft. The interior layout offers accommodation for 12 guests in five cabins, served by 17 crew in 10 cabins.

Kasper’s decks, doors, pillars, and furniture are built with FSC-certified teak, sourced from responsibly managed forests that use an environmentally sound tree harvest and replanting schedule. Kasper has also been awarded 3-star certification from the Yacht Club de Monaco’s Sea Index used to measure CO2 emissions released by yachts measuring more than 25 meters.

Kasper’s top speed is 16 knots, powered by three Caterpillar 1,350 kW engines. At 10 knots, Kasper’s range is 5,000 nautical miles. She is equipped with a 200 kW Schottel bow thruster and a Nayad Dynamics stabilizer. Registered with Lloyd’s Register, Kasper is REG-Y compliant and Malta CYC 2020 compliant.

The owners opted to reduce the number of cabins to five to ensure a higher level of service. A gym on the bridge deck gives a nod to fitness. A well-appointed beach club, including massage room, dive store, bar, swim platform, and day head, welcomes guests to an active social area of the yacht.

The Main Deck

Ascending to the main deck following a pair of stairways from the beach club, guests enter through a large seating area with U-shaped sofa overlooking the swim platform. Through large glass doors, entry to the main saloon sets the stage for wonder, imagination, and comfort.

The creamy puffs of organically rounded sofa and chair shapes playfully entertain the pastel pink touches and translucent yellow coffee table across the 10-meter span. Fun pillow shapes adorn the sofas with sea creatures, and enormous windows rimmed by see-through bulwarks enhance the view.

An artistic installation that serves as a whimsical bar teases the imagination with pillars carved from cypress tree trunks. Bar seating hints at sea fauna, accented by a curved bar top and rounded edge shelving. The Perpero wood walls in soft shades of pink and white are balanced by a white oak floor and a crisp ceiling, creating a playful yet serene atmosphere that encourages relaxation.

Echoing the abundant natural light, soft lighting from overhead fixtures provides a pleasant glow both in the saloon and the dining room. Located fully forward on the main deck dining room, a pair of round windows to both port and starboard, nearly two meters in diameter, shower the space with an exuberant quality through light and palette. Upbeat Maria Flora plushy yellow and white velvet cushions over a white base provide seating for twelve around a pastel pink molded resin rounded oval table.

Amidships, the lobby and curved stair are central to the deck with a crew lobby crew stair, and pantry to port. A bit further forward, tucked in between the stair and the dining area, a well-equipped galley sits to port, with a crew stair to center.

A VIP corridor, wine cellar, and rack area, and day head sit to starboard.

The Upper Deck

Ascending either the central stair or the aft deck starboard stair, the upper deck provides more joy through relaxed, comfortable seating areas, a cheerful palette, and carefully curated eclectic fine art. Fully aft, a curved sofa overlooks the main aft deck and swim platform below. Further forward, a large dining table seating 14 runs fore to aft, with cushy white chairs on perky wood base frames.

Through sliding glass doors, a lively upper deck saloon beckons with plush creamy sofa, quilted white angular bench, large coffee table, and the only large screen television on the yacht. The deeply upholstered sofa faces both forward and aft, with spot punches of quilting and a friendly stuffed fish swimming along the back.

Amidships, the stair lobby takes center stage, with a crew lobby, stair, and pantry to port. A day head sits to starboard, and an entry from the main stair upper lobby leads to the owner’s entrance and corridor lined with cabinet storage and outfitted with a desk.

Midway through the corridor, entry to the 10-meter stretch of the owner’s dressing room and closet offers an expansive space with thoughtful design. To starboard, the very spacious owner’s bath with dual shower, dual enclosed toilets, and dual sinks is done in nicely marbled stone. Fully forward, the owner’s suite is completed by the forward-facing bed, ensuring a gorgeous view ahead through expansive windows.

The Bridge Deck

Climbing the starboard aft deck stair or taking the central circular stair, arrival on the bridge deck again welcomes guests to a poshly upholstered creamy sofa, dotted with yellow throw pillows. A white bar stretches port to starboard, with a clutch of high-boy director’s style chairs perfectly placed in white fabric with wooden frames.

Through the doors a gym awaits, offering a hearty workout with glorious views. A day head sits to port, and a stair to starboard leads up to the sun deck. A central door leads to the main stair lobby, flanked to port by a pantry, crew stair and lobby, and ship’s office. A door from the lobby opens to the wheelhouse, assisted by wing stations to both port and starboard.

The Sun Deck

A C-shaped white sofa fully aft offers a relaxing view of the sun deck that lies forward. A bar with high-boy chairs parallels the port side, offering direct conversation with either the sofa lounges aft or the chaise lounges forward.

The bar conceals storage cabinets, a sink, icemaker, and prep area, perfect for a gathering purposed to a sundowner or a light snack and a cocktail. While most of the deck gathers sunny rays, awnings can be positioned to offer shade overhead in strategic areas.

The Lower Deck

Forward of the beach club, the engine room with enclosed engine control room and control room lobby to port. Further forward, a pair of forward-facing guest cabins sits to both port and starboard, joined by a guest lobby.

Each cabin has an en suite bath forward, and a large closet, desk and chair. The central stair provides access to the main deck as well as the lobby area and guest corridor to two additional aft-facing guest cabins, mirroring the other two cabins with en suite baths, closets, and desks with chairs. The guest cabins sport the same perpero wood and travertine stone as the owner’s cabin. Each cabin is also named for a cartoon character from the boat’s namesake, Kasper, another nod to the playful nature on board.

Forward of the guest areas, the crew lobby leads to the port side crew mess, which can seat the entire crew in one go. A treatment room with en suite bath and officer’s cabin and bath sit to starboard. Further forward, a pair of officers’ en suite cabins sit to port and starboard, with six additional crew cabins, all with en suite baths and closets, fully forward. Below, 42 lights provide mood lighting once the sun dips beneath the horizon.

Conspicuous By Their Absence,

What is not on board are shiny surfaces or an army of flat screens, as the owners hope the yacht will encourage guests to engage with each other rather than electronic screens. What is also deemed unnecessary on board are pools or jacuzzi tubs. Karagulla believes the sea offers the best option for swimming.

With this refreshing, friendly palette and thoughtfully designed layout, Kasper is all about connecting to the sea. The open, light, airy vibe encourages guests to relax and socialize with the other guests while thoroughly enjoying their time on board.

Excellence Recognized

The owner of Kasper 7, Nisrine Karagulla, commented, “After winning the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2025, this award is another important recognition of the collaboration with Benetti. M/Y Kasper 7 embodies our dream of creating a true home on the water, a result made possible thanks to the excellence of the shipyard’s skills and the close synergy we established with them.”

After winning international design awards for naval architecture and interior design, Benetti Marketing Director Camilla Calza commented, “This double recognition fills us with pride because it underlines our excellence in the design and construction of highly customized yachts. Collaborating with the owner and turning her vision into reality was a great privilege for the entire Benetti team, made possible thanks to the know-how of our work team.”

Combining standout features in aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability, Kasper is notably unique for her pastel palette and friendly, welcoming design. The calm, playful furnishings selected for casual comfort further embellish the brilliant solutions that give Kasper such a happy, livable, summer house feel, truly setting a new trend.
