The 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), a dazzling spectacle in the luxury yachting world, concluded its 64th edition with unprecedented success. Held in the heart of Florida, this premier event set new attendance records, attracting over 100,000 visitors and showcasing over 1,300 boats. FLIBS not only epitomizes the grandeur of luxury yachting but also marks a significant event in the global marine industry, spanning across seven unique locations, including the Superyacht Village at Pier 66 South and the Broward County Convention Center.

Highlights of the Show

The Superyacht Village was the crowning jewel of FLIBS 2023, where the 72m M/Y CASINO ROYALE by Tankoa Yachts reigned as the largest yacht on display. Complementing this majesty were other magnificent vessels, such as the 49.9m M/Y OCEAN Z from Heesen Yachts and Benetti’s B.Yond 37M NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. Additionally, the Hall Of Fame Marina showcased Lürssen’s 61m M/Y MARGUERITE, illustrating the event’s luxurious breadth .

Renowned yacht builders, including Benetti, Azimut, Princess, and Sunseeker, presented their latest marvels. Benetti introduced the 112-foot Oasis 34M Ubiquitous, a motor yacht with an innovative design featuring an infinity pool. Azimut’s lineup boasted four models making their Americas premiere, such as the Verve 48 outboard and the Magellano 60, embodying speed and sustainability. Princess Yachts showcased the Y95, a testament to luxury with a full-beam master stateroom, while Sunseeker presented the Ocean 182, an 88-foot yacht combining luxury and performance.

The show showcased maritime innovation, featuring various advanced boats and yachts. The Aquila 47 Molokai power catamaran was prominent among these, renowned for its sturdy build and innovative design. The Benetti Oasis 34m stood out for its luxurious infinity pool and expansive design. Chris-Craft’s Catalina 28, with its classic design cues, was a nod to traditional boatbuilding artistry. The Cigarette Racing 52 Thunder Center Console impressed with its sheer power and speed capabilities, epitomizing the fusion of performance and luxury.
