The new flagship tri-deck 155 Yacht is now build, and the first is set to splash in 2014. With a 4500 nautical mile range, this is the first ever semi-displacement, round bilge and long keel hull from Sunseeker, and the 155 presents the top European yards with a very real challenge.

Taking the concept of series building with personal customization a step further than the others, the modular composite build methodology allows owners a virtual freehand not just in the interior but in the design of the actual superstructure, from classic to futuristic, from North American to Mediterranean to Asian styling.

Sliding in jus below 500 gross tonnes, her RINA commercial and MCA LY2 coding keeps costs of commercial operation within bounds. With inset ship's balconies, transverse garaging of tenders and toys, and a very private megayacht beach club with lower deck dayroom, folding platform and tender docking, there's a great deal of innovation throughout. And for those who like statistics, she's mote than 40 per cent bigger in interior than the previous flagship 40 Metre Yacht.
