The long-awaited M/Y Elena, formerly Y/N 16847, from the Heesen Yachts family is finally delivered!
Founded in 1978, Heesen Yachts set the record for being the first Dutch shipyard to employ aluminum alloy for the building of yacht hulls, and since then they don't cease to surprise us with their innovative spirit. Their latest introduction into the boat world is the long-awaited M/Y Elena, formerly known as Y/N 16847. She makes justice to everything that Heesen Yachts represent: innovation, state-of-the art technology and top quality design and construction.

The M/Y Elena is the latest member of the iconic, contemporary, breed of Heesens: the award-winning 47-metre class. She combines the highest comfort, regarding on board living, and a first-class performance; she is all about safety and satisfaction. Its zero speed stabilizers ensure maximum comfort at anchor and its well-engineered round bilge hull with bulbous bow, powered by two MTU 8V 4000 M63, guarantees smooth and safe cruising in any sea conditions, achieving a range of 4.000 nm at 12 knots. Heesen Yachts wanted to be 100% sure she was faultless, so intensive sea trials in heavy sea conditions took place in the North Sea.; excellence and security are top priorities in this world leading brand.

But, this superb vessel is not all about performance; design and comfort are also part of her character. As its own owner states: "This is going to be our home away from home on the ocean!"
You will be able to see her shine in the September Monaco Yacht Show, from the 24th to the 27th. M/Y Elena represents everything there is to be in the tradition of Dutch quality shipbuilding, but always with a sparkle of innovation.
