Azimut Grande 100, the largest superyacht on the Rio Boat Show

The Italian Azimut-Benetti will present in a modern mega stand all their new designs. The brand will launch the Azimut 88, the Azimut 92 and the Azimut Grande 100 which will be the largest superyachts of the event.

Azimut-Benetti Group, which is the biggest builder of luxury yachts, plans to be the main attraction of the event with its 500 square meters stand. The Azimut superyachts, Atlantis, Azimut Grande and Benetti will all be displayed for the people to see.

The queen of the Azimut-Benetti Group will be the Azimut Grande 100. This 31 meter yacht has been designed by Stefano Righini with interior designs of Carlo Galeazzi.

The Top management of the group will assist the Rio Boat Show such as Paolo Casani (CEO of Azimut Yachts and Atlantis), Marco Valle (Sales Director of Azimut Yachts and Atlantis), Francesco Ansalone (Marketing Director of Azimut-Benetii Group), Vincenzo Poerio (CEO of Benetti), Fabrizio Scerch (Sales Manager of Benetti) and David Breviglieri (CEO of Azimut Brazil).

The Grande 100

The Azimut Grande 100, also known as The Grande 100, is a very sophisticated luxury yacht which will surely wow the crowd of the Rio Boat Show.

The yacht has a spacious social area and a big dinning zone for 10 people. In addition, the yacht has an area for the owner to decide how to use it: fitness area, studio, etc. On the flybridge, there is a large dinner table, a large sofa, a bar zone, a Jacuzzi and a beautiful terrace looking over the sea.

In the interior, the owner can choose two different configurations such as four or five cabins. The five cabins have two VIP cabins with double beds and two twin beds. The four cabins have one VIP cabin and the owner's cabin amidships on the lower deck. Also, the boatyard allow the choice of furniture, décor, fabrics and materials.

Influential strategies in Brazil

In 2010, Azimut established a factory in Brazil in the city of Itajai. David Breviglieri, the CEO of Brazil, said that today the plant has 25,000 square meters and is planning to expand. "When the project is completed, the new plant will occupy a total area of over 45,000 square meters, of which 50% will be covered. Currently there are 300 employees who work in the construction of yachts with the same standard of excellence of those produced in Italy, beyond the services, the dealer's network, and after sales" he added.

Francesco Ansalone, Marketing director of Azimut Benetti Group said that the group wants to make powerful strategies and to expand the relationships with the customers. ""We confirm our strong presence in the Brazilian nautical market, through Rio Boat Show, bringing our professional staff, our history of over 40 years of experience, and to show the wide range and variety of options available to the public in the country" Francesco explained.

The Rio Boat Show 2013 will take place between April 25th and May 1st at the Mauá Pier, Rio de Janeiro. This event is known as the best nautical event of Latin America.
