Technical Aspects of the Azimut 100
When designing this yacht, Azimut Benetti Group included two MTU 16V 2000M84 engines that give it a maximum speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 22.5 knots. In other words, this little beauty can move. She has a fuel tank capacity measuring 3,909 gallons (14,800 liters). This makes her perfectly capable of traveling for several days without stopping to refuel. That's a great attribute for anyone who wants to explore a full coastline or simply spend a few nights enjoying the ocean's quiet.
Her 282-gallon (2,000-liter) fresh water capacity offers plenty of refreshment for guests and crew members. She also has a 211-gallon (800-liter) black water tank and a grey water tank of the same size.
Life Aboard the Azimut 100
The Azimut 100 has four guest cabins and three crew cabins, all located on the lower deck. Each guest cabin has its own en suite for privacy and convenience. The owner's cabin even has a lowered en suite located connected by a small flight of stairs. It's an innovative design that adds luxury to the yacht without requiring additional space.
Each guest cabin also offers a wonderful view of the surrounding water. Long windows line the walls, allowing natural light to pour into the cabins. This compliments the cream, white, and light wood colors used to decorate the interior spaces. During the evening, small bedside lamps offer plenty of light.
The owner's cabin also has a leather chaise lounge that is perfect for reading or just watching the world pass by. With the curtains drawn back, it offers an undisturbed view from an extraordinarily comfortable location.
Inside the Azimut 100
The main deck has several places where guests can gather for meals or entertainment. A main lounge features two long couches that offer plenty of room for guests to enjoy themselves. It also makes a great location for social gatherings. Invited guests can choose to spend the night in one of the cabins below while others can return to the shore once the party ends.
The Azimut Grande 100 by Benetti also has a glass dining table with eight chairs. A custom-made light fixture hangs above the table for evening meals. During the day, though, the windows offer plenty of natural light.
The kitchen also has a small table suitable for two or three people. It's a good place for morning meals or quick snacks. The kitchen, of course, has the latest appliances. Whether the owner chooses to prepare meals himself or bring a chef on the trip, it's a breeze to whip up gourmet recipes with such extravagant equipment.
Taking in the Ocean Air
No one would dare embark on an ocean adventure without spending plenty of time on Azimut 100's exterior areas. Her interior features are only rivaled by her exterior's elegance and smart use of space.
A table located on the main deck makes the loveliest spot for fun meals. It's wrapped by three custom-built couches and three chairs that offer a comfortable place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Assuming that the weather remains nice, it's hard to imagine guests wanting to spend much time away from this area. If they want to go inside, though, they just need to step through the main deck's door to enter the lounge.
The main level also offers a brilliant sundeck where guests can enjoy the ocean air, sunlight, and unblemished sky.
For fun evening meals and gatherings, guests can retreat to the upper deck, where they will find a table with a similar seating arrangement as the main deck's exterior dining area. The upper deck, however, has a different vibe thanks to its Jacuzzi and open layout. The extra height of the upper deck also offers an uninterrupted view of the Azimut 100's environment. Whether docked in a harbor or clipping along far from shore, guests will get the best views from this area.
The Azimut Grande 100 by Benetti isn't the largest yacht traversing the globe, but it is one of the most marvelously designed specimens. The owner has a truly unique vessel that incorporates style and grace into a small package.
The Azimut Grande Group worked diligently to create this special yacht. That hard work shows in every detail from the carefully chosen fabric of the upper deck's couches to the recessed en suite enjoyed by the owner. With this remarkable vessel, anyone could explore the world in style and comfort.
